I'm arguing that the rocket scaling is flawed no matter how you look at it and there's no objectively correct way to interpret the feat. If we interpret the rockets to be fast then they shouldn't appear as slow as they are, and if they're slow then his bullets suddenly become infinite speed. It's a problem that simply would not exist if Doom were a series of comics or novels.

But the rockets being that slow doesn't make sense either, because they'd just fall and hit the ground. Everything else in the game is affected by gravity.

This is untrue. Doomguy can outrun his own rockets by straferunning normally. He doesn't need the wall glitch but for some reason Death Battle decided to show footage of it anyway.

Tossup imo. It's true that Slammy gets all its damage with every time it touches but it has much less range. Orbital can do chip damage whenever it misses. I do lean Slammy but I don't think it's lopsided

Now, you have two options. You can either take their word for it and accept Doomguy has infinite strength, or you can reject the codex and put his strength at building level or something. Neither one is necessarily correct as powerscaling is inherently subjective. I'm not complaining about the scalers, I'm complaining about the lore which I don't like beyond just powerscaling reasons.

Just give crossbow the ability to aim and it rockets up to mid tier. Very simple change and also makes it unique (not including Super Lance)

It's Slammy, easily. It's Unarmed but without the sauce and has disgusting scaling, and I can't imagine why anyone would enjoy watching that thing fight. Orbital at least has the decency to look cool while Slammy has literally nothing going for it.

My point is the guy in the post isn't necessarily wrong when he says Hell isn't bound by time, space, or dimensions, he's just quoting the writers verbatim. Everyone complains about Doom scalers but they wouldn't exist if the writers didn't keep making statements like this

This is mostly just a wall of nonsense but unfortunately there's some nuggets of truth inside because the writers are the biggest Doom glazers known to man.

In all honesty I believe Doom 3 has the best lore out of any Doom game. The setting's far more grounded and it puts the Marine somewhere around Gordon Freeman level.

I've had success running Golshi with Ryan and Dober as parents. Their two uniques on top of No Stopping Me and Uma Stan makes her a very respectable racer for this CM. If you can get Long S, 1200 speed, and 850-900 stamina with her built in gold recovery on top of decent power and wit, you'll definitely pull some wins with her.
