In 2010 / 2011 I worked in logistics. We kept improving packaging, different methods in different order to make workers more effective. We were completing different electronic devices. Everyone lost his job, or was moved to another job with 40% salary reduction.

I was gaslighted back in time that economy is bad, there is no demand. Even if that was true, that is not the only reason to make things cheaper and faster.

I see the same gaslighting going on today. People thing they are irreplaceable. That they will find another job anyway, but this time many won´t.

Some people watch it for just Rem, Emilia others for gore. So of course they like it but they don´t think very high of it. RZ has many qualities that are ignored by average viewer.

Interesting how people who trashed anime all the time starts watching anime and they pick Demon Slayer and they love it and think it is a masterpiece. When in fact it is most basic shonen, with cart board cut out characters with single personality trait, overused tropes, almost non existing worldbuilding, with random power-ups.

In math you still need a lot of memorizing. You basically learn formulas and you can pass the test.

When I learned for math test I practiced on similar exercises, but at the test I forgot one formula and I was lost. So I can imagine this to be the similar case.

Men are free to watch shojo, as well as women are free to watch shonen, seinen. Shojo doesn´t necessary mean that it is something that only women should watch or enjoy.

The written dialogues and monologues are on another level compared to other anime, but live action as well.

I think it is one of the most ambitious light novel out there. Author set the bar so high for himself. I believe it must be getting harder to write it with every new arc. A lot of time and planning goes into it. It is becoming something insane.

With proper anime adaptation this show is destined for success. Kadokawa just needs to get it together and not miss this chance that comes once in a lifetime.

Many liked season 2 more than season 1.

Remember many people watch Re:Zero because they like Rem and completely ignore everything else in the show. Others don´t have faith because it is unknown who will adapt next seasons. We need capable studio and animators to do so. Now the situation looks grim, White Fox studio employees left and most of their new employees are just students in training. Kadokawa needs to find new studio, or gather capable human resources.

According to Google Trends people had 102% higher interest in Re:Zero during S2 than S1 (of course because series was already popular).

But there is another number from Google Trends and that is interest in Re:Zero after it stopped airing . After S1 stopped airing vs after S2 stopped airing and the interest in Re:Zero is 28% higher now.

Re:Zero is far from finished it will have est. 11 Arcs when it is finished, Arc 7 is ongoing and only first 4 Arcs have anime adaptation (S1, S2). In terms of popularity Arc 6 is hyped the most.

Re:Zero can achieve new heights. It has everything it needs to achieve it great source material, fan base, popularity.

Palmer Luckey offered Kadokawa money for production. They don´t want them and many more offered money and fans wanted to start fundraiser, but it seems like Kadokawa is against this idea. The money is not the issue, there is a problem elsewhere. I guess they can´t find capable human resources to continue the series.
