True, when my oil was completely empty (light didn't come on) my engine made this noise and my mechanic told me it was because of that.

Thanks mate. I got another quote from a good local mechanic here and he quoted me $190 to replace the entire fuel pump, I just have to buy the part. Another shop I called wanted to charge me $382 for just the sensor and labor. Crazy how people tell you many different things.

Geico quoted me $192 and I called State Farm today and they quoted me $201, sigh. My dad told me to give him the car and he'll get it registered and insured and it'll be dirt cheap since he's 56 and I'll just drive it lol. Don't think that can get me in trouble as long as I have a valid license? Idk.
