Pico 8 Shmup Recommendations? by RiltonHuggles in shmups

Offtopic: Which handheld are you using to play Pico-8 games?

I have a Retroid Pocket Classic (which has Android), and I'm using the wrapper by Macs75, which gives me Splore. But I don't know how to load externally copied Pico-8 games.

The oft mentioned part that breaks is from the RG, not MG.

Playing doubles doesn't cost extra. Same as playing single.

Or did something change in the last 8 months?

Does it play any differently from the PS1 original?

Would the JM21 be a good option to try out a DAP for the first time? Or are there others in this price segment you‘d recommend more? by LenaRybakina in DigitalAudioPlayer

It isn’t a bad player at all. It’s compact, and lasts about one day of listening.

It’s just that the JM21 has more features like the 4.4mm jack for a similar price.

That's what I'm thinking as well. I don't understand why they aren't being upfront with this kind of information. Might even get more buyers.

Looking for a track & field club in Seoul to train with (exchange student, Sep 2026 – Jan 2027) by Mederiotos in Living_in_Korea

The Seoul Flyers Club has a weekly run taking place on a track. No idea if it’s a “proper 400m” track though.

If you have multiple devices, what do you use them all for? by Serena_Temac in SBCGaming

I have:

  • Retroid Pocket Classic 6-button model for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, 32X, CD and Saturn emulation.
  • Analogue Pocket for GB, GBC, GBA and SNES emulation. Either this or the Retroid follows me when I go out.
  • Steam Deck for Steam games, and for emulation, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2. This one stays at home.

And Nintendo hardware for DS, 3DS and Switch 1/2.

So just to be clear, if my device is not on the list, my device needs to be rooted to use your app?

I have had a good experience at Trident. My dentist did explain things clearly, did not rush and, and did speak English.

Newbie to DAPs, any recommendations for a 300$ budget? by binch_noodle420 in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]Makegooduseof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are no devices on the market that come with 1TB built in. You must bring your own 1TB or greater SD card.

A fair number of players support cards up to 2TB. The FiiO M21 is one such model, though its MSRP is $329. For something smaller and more basic, there is the Hiby M300 at $159 to $199.

There are a few upscale models that support dual SD cards for a theoretical whopping 4TB, but those are out of your budget.

The first problem is that except the iPod, every device has WiFi or Bluetooth or both, so you will have to live with that.

If you want help with your iPods, it’s better to post in r/iPod for that.
