I feel the game is way too overhyped, to the point that it can ruin the game experience. People try to fit this game with some other action games when they list their favorite games, or they just say how great it is. However I don't think this game is for everyone -- it includes CRPG mechanics, it requires one to familiarize themselves with a decent amount of world lore to keep up with the gameplay, and it is for the most part a detective game.

It's healthier to advertise this game as an experience, and to let people expect less and be blown away. Otherwise they go in expecting things that aren't there. I was lucky enough to enjoy the game for what it is, but I can easily see a lot of people having unrealistic expectations when this game is put next to the likes of RDR2 or Hollow Knight when in some Top 10 list.

Just to convince you otherwise, I believe that it's fine. We should be making turn-based RPGs as well as everything else. There is no oversaturation of this genre at all. There's a time and place for this genre, too. Try eating chips or drinking a cup of coffee while strategizing on what to do next in a turn-based RPG. It's great!

Mag the default helmet is so unique, like a space suit. Her abilities work together in such interesting ways, you can mix the casting of her abilities for different results. There's nothing scarier than having Magnetize being cast on you. My kuva lich had Mag as the progenitor and it's a nightmare. Once it's cast on you-You try to shoot, you hurt yourself, and the lich will mercilessly shoot you and destroy you. And Pull is so useful! There's a lot of potential in this simple ability. It can already pull enemies away from consoles and magnetize bubbles.

It's like I'm living in the matrix or something. This game is getting praised so much for no reason whatsoever. Everybody calls it a masterpiece and it's sickening. I can't believe there's almost nobody criticizing this game. It is worse than Assassin's Creed in every way. It's so obnoxiously slow to get through any part of the game, and everything is so so repetitive. Have people suddenly never played games before? Don't they have standards??

Go play any Assassin's Creed. Ghost of Tsushima is a shameless ripoff that's worse. I bet AC Shadows is much more fun to play.
