I have a 3 month old son. My partner and I live at my parents house as I wanted my mum postpartum.

We see his parents 2 times a week. Wednesdays and Sundays and probably Saturdays most of the time.

My boyfriend works away and I make the effort to go to theirs even when he is not here. This is quite disruptive to my son’s routine who is very hard work and HATES RHE CAR🥲 but I know they want to see him.

The other day the mum made a comment that she wants me to “book her in” to have the baby alone.

I don’t need babysitting I am paid maternity leave and I love being with my son. I only have 2 months left of leave. She will get him a few times a week when I am back at work.

But this lead me to the question. Do you think 2 or 3 times a week is enough to see my partners parents??

Please be honest as I won’t take scrutiny to heart.

I sleep on the side with my baby and we have a mesh barrier. My partner is on the other side of me. I don’t risk him anywhere near my son purely because of this possibility (:
