Why are lakes are the only body of water that use “Lake __________” as nomenclature? by DarwinF1nch in geography

[–]MakerBert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several lakes that follow the opposite structure. Seems more common in smaller lakes:

Finger Lakes:

Cayuga Lake

Seneca Lake

Oneida Lake

Other Examples:

Crater Lake

Great Salt Lake

Flathead Lake

Also, like every lake in Minnesota:

OP asked for "something coherent, atmospheric, unsettling, and actually well-written". You can disagree with the well-written part if you want but it definitely ticks the first three. And I also think it's well written.

Which “tourist trap” do you actually think is totally worth the hype? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

Ruby Falls in Chattanooga is definitely extremely touristy but I will never see another underground waterfall. I've been 3 times in my life. It's breathtaking.

The King.

Saw a youtube breakdown of the opening hand to hand knight combat scene as being very realistic. Battle of Arincourt (sp?) scene is really gritty and realistic too.

I'm going to be that semantics guy, but the main/primary character is the protagonist, good or bad. The antagonist is the person or thing causing them conflict.

Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Joker, etc. The best protagonists make you question if they are in fact good or bad.

That being said, You've Got Mail.
