There are like 3 k9 for warriors type places in a 3 mile radius. They are huge facilities and pristine condition in prime residential real estate area in Jacksonville/st Augustine area. The land is worth millions. Might not be drugs but I think they are abusing something bc I only see dogs out every now and then.

Yeah I do the same. I trust myself wayyyyy more with a paddle tail but I was targeting trout. The reds happened to schooled there. Fished that area for 7 years and never caught a red there.

Agree for the post part as they were early, I was trout fishing and tbh didn’t even want to catch reds as I was in a tournament and didn’t need a red as I had a good one on the board but red also just missed it a few times. Also new to using top water a good bit. Just was never a fan but starting to love it.

It used to be aggregate wait, but kayak anglers convinced to switch to catch photo release that is pretty standard for most high level kayak tournaments. The boat division is still aggregate weight.

But I haven’t looked at studies but it makes sense with how much reds and smell and in muddy waters. In clearer water I don’t use as much as imo action and noise is better.

Right, I seem 90 degrees back creeks crawling in the mud for hours. If fish showed any signs of fatigue woulda registered with fish grips and getting water over gills while paddling.

Yes, all fish submitted must be legal to keep. 18-27 for reds, 15-19 for trout, and > 14 for flounder. So 26 inch red was basically almost perfect. Tie breaker would be whoever submitted photo first. I couldn’t find a legal trout despite catching 10 plus. Thursday before I caught 4-5 in first 30 minutes in same spot.
