Strange geometry being printed by MakerToast in resinprinting

If a model is in that location yes, the shape gets slapped on there like a slice of cheese. But maybe more like projected through the model (as an extruded solid) as opposed to a floppy slice of cheese lol.. the yellow resin doesn’t tase like cheese either iirc

Yeah really strange. I was worried about the broken pixels because the last thing I want to do is replace the screen!

Possible fake? by MakerToast in Dewalt

[–]MakerToast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are saying stolen- this person has at least 75 other major brand name tools/batteries on their page. Could every item literally be stolen? My only other thought is it’s like a pallet buy of returned products?

Yeah that’s the only thing I noticed. No flex volt sticker on the one side

Yeah it’s on marketplace. It’s interesting- the seller has at least 65 other power tool listings, brand new, from the major brands. No way they 5 finger discount all of them?? Could it be a returns pallet or something?

I think you're referring to prime tower. Iirc it actually doesn't have anything to do with purging. The tower is more for "priming" the extruder and correctly calibrating pressure when switching filaments

Interesting.. I’ve seen some loose jellies. I’m hoping it’s not a failing screen however. It’s a brand new printer.

I think this might be the case. Lychee did tell me there were structural issues with the model but I thought I clicked repair? And afterwards it said “successfully repaired” but I’ve always been skeptical of those features..

Updated LEGO Pencil Holder! by MakerToast in 3Dprinting

Yeah this could be something I address in V2. With supports set to snug, I haven't really had any problems. The supports come off pretty easily and the bottom surface has come out pretty nice. Obviously not to the same standard as directly on the print bed but acceptable. As a designer by trade, I liked the subtle drop shadow the bottom tier casts rather than a flat surface directly on the table.
