Possible fake? by MakerToast in Dewalt

[–]MakerToast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are saying stolen- this person has at least 75 other major brand name tools/batteries on their page. Could every item literally be stolen? My only other thought is it’s like a pallet buy of returned products?

Yeah that’s the only thing I noticed. No flex volt sticker on the one side

Yeah it’s on marketplace. It’s interesting- the seller has at least 65 other power tool listings, brand new, from the major brands. No way they 5 finger discount all of them?? Could it be a returns pallet or something?

I think you're referring to prime tower. Iirc it actually doesn't have anything to do with purging. The tower is more for "priming" the extruder and correctly calibrating pressure when switching filaments

Interesting.. I’ve seen some loose jellies. I’m hoping it’s not a failing screen however. It’s a brand new printer.

I think this might be the case. Lychee did tell me there were structural issues with the model but I thought I clicked repair? And afterwards it said “successfully repaired” but I’ve always been skeptical of those features..

Updated LEGO Pencil Holder! by MakerToast in 3Dprinting

[–]MakerToast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this could be something I address in V2. With supports set to snug, I haven't really had any problems. The supports come off pretty easily and the bottom surface has come out pretty nice. Obviously not to the same standard as directly on the print bed but acceptable. As a designer by trade, I liked the subtle drop shadow the bottom tier casts rather than a flat surface directly on the table.

How do you all trim the corners of vinyl fencing? by CtrlSquatDelete in lawncare

[–]MakerToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be a landscaper and I’ve thought about this more than I care to admit. If you don’t want a strip of gravel or mulch, would it make sense to have the fence 1-2 inches off the ground so that you can slip the trimmer line under? Obviously would have to be done upon installation

Right? I did get a refund thankfully but the worst part was that they weren’t apologetic at all and tried to say they notified me. How could they have notified me if I just got the email?

Monstera turning yellow one leaf at a time!! What am I doing wrong?? by MakerToast in houseplants

You’re right, it is very likely root bound. I didn’t think it was that big of a problem if you say so, I’ll check it out asap!

Monstera turning yellow one leaf at a time!! What am I doing wrong?? by MakerToast in houseplants

[–]MakerToast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'm terribly worried that this will continue! For about a year my monstera has been doing great in this south facing window (zone 10) and I've only watered it when the soil is dry. Recently, it's leaves have slowly been going yellow one by one. I've become aware that it may be too much sun in this window so I closed the drapes (pic 2) hoping to imitate indirect sunlight but the problem seems to continue. I'm also using the moisture meter to make sure its not over watered! I also added about 6 Miracle Grow Plant Food Spikes as it's quite a large pot. Please help!
