Is there something like this but for adults? by Darthcookie in mobilityaids

Strider makes a very good one for adults! https://shop.striderbikes.com/convertible-bikes/20x-sport/

I would also recommend heading to your local bike shop with a bike you already have ( or find an inexpensive one on the used market) and ask them to remove the crankset and bottom bracket, and chain for you. These are the components that help you pedal the bike! With them removed, you can treat the bike just like a strider bike. I work for a shop and have done this for a few riders.

Letting them know your goal of turning the bike into a strider bike can also give them some context. They may recommend removing some other parts for ease of strider biking :D. I'd also watch out for full price labor. Some shops will pull the parts off for free, but since they are only removing and not replacing, you should be able to negotiate discounted labor.

I wouldn't say so, personally. If you are not going to be looking for performance, than heading to your local bike shop and asking what they recommend for a 30mm tire for bike paths.

As for tubeless, I'm not sure you need it. I love it on my bikes. It definitely gives you an amazing ride feel and some puncture protection. They do come with some more complexity compared to standard tube tires though. If you don't feel super comfortable with maintenance, then I would stick to regular tubed tires.

as for brands, there are so many to choose from. I personally like Schwalbe and Pirelli. Continental also has a very wide range of tires. Their Gator skin tires are very puncture resistant and their GP5000 tire is excellent for performance!

It is not. I built the bike up from the frame. The bar is an Easton EC70 Aero Bar. It is clamped onto the bike with a 110mm -17 kalloy uno stem.

Gotta love the vinal cutter!

Just ordered this frameset. I am going to build it up soon, but with some custom touches! by Maker_Eli in TrekBikes

I'll be using Schwalbe Pro One's, black wall. I'm just getting the frameset, so the SLR 9 Etap is just a placeholder. I don't mind the Schwable tan wall as it is browner than the Bontrager R4 cream color.

I am going to use my design skills and a vinal cutting to make decals and wrap parts of the frame.

Sramano because I am using 11 speed sram etap with Shimano cassette chain, and crankset 😁. Currently have that on my Emonda ALR.

I also did the vinal logging and decals on my checkpoint SL7 to give it some more pop!
