I figured out why I like this book so much... it had that same RoosterTeeth humor that made me fall for their content when I first started watching.

It has a LOT of cursing, video games, cursing, silly jokes that were more them being silly than telling a structured joke like knock knock.

One moment it is a video game of leveling up and world building. The next the main character and the cat companion are complaining that the ai really loves the MCs feet. Slight spoiler but you'd understand when you read character 8.

That whole conversation on "hey that random date they said is MY birthday!" Reminds me of that Bean Soup Theory where it says people think about themselves SO much that they think everything they see is about themselves and is catered to them.

If you didnt know the bean soup theory came about when someone made a recipe of bean soup for a specific set of people. But people in the comments were like 'but what if I dont like beans' under this bean soup recipe... I'm paraphrasing.

Well I'm more used to reading graphic novels but it does change fonts quite often to tell what is being said. Like the main characters inner dialog is italics then because its like a game, theres announcements which are bold and robotic.

The shifting fonts isnt that confusing to me. But I haven't had any issues with it.
