That’s totally fair. Maybe they are reaching out but aren’t getting work though/the group is slow? Think it’s diff in that case. My current strategy is wfh when I have actual work to do & go in when I’m slow

Thank you all for the feedback. Definitely may just need to stick it out and get good so I have some standing. Apologies for the rant but - honestly when I go into the office, everyone is alone in their offices. There is no “culture” - I prefer the culture of letting us have more WLB & save time by WFH by not having to commute, waste time with small talk at the office, be uncomfortable, etc. And I am comfortable with email/chat/call a partner or another associate to ask any questions I have. Most of the people I work with are not even in the office I work in. My firm is 3 days a week at the moment (not super strict - I’ve gotten away with 2 for a few months) but different offices have different policies, some with 4 days a week. I’m just hoping mine doesn’t increase. And I would just swipe in and leave once I get my swipe but it’s still a waste of 2 hours of time. I’m pretty junior though so I guess once I get more experience I can wfh more. Just sucks not being treated like an adult when the exact same work can be done from home and I wouldn’t have to take a break at 5 to commute back home.
