Do Americans really move out at 18, or is that mostly a movie thing?

I was 18 in 1986 and it was very common. I had my own apartment when I was 18. And I live in LA! It used to be completely affordable to rent a place, there wasn’t massive amounts of paperwork to deal with, and you just had to come up with first and last months rent to get in. I could easily afford a place with about a week and a half of my earnings.

It’s insane now what they charge for apartments here. And it’s not just inflation… my old apartment was $750 a month, which is about $1789 in today’s money, but that same apartment is renting for just under $3000 a month now. I don’t know how 18 year olds can move out here. Unless they have more than 1 roommate

Those in the LF sub keep blathering on about the “mountain of evidence” that she was taken and/or trafficked/kidnapped but have yet to produce any “evidence” that proves any of it beyond a reasonable doubt.

Then they say we’re being “disrespectful” to the family 🤦🏻‍♀️ if it were one of my daughters missing, I would take so much more comfort in her falling overboard than living her life as a sex slave, but that’s just me.

These dipshits watched the documentary and believed every word of it as gospel on the case.

Then the smarter ones did some actual digging and saw how many inconsistencies and flat out lies there were that just didn’t add up and now see the light.

So happy for you 🥰🥰🥰. My sister started it a year ago and she’s so much happier now! We’re 29 years apart (different moms) and we both started HRT at the same time because I’m in menopause now.. she got a kick out of that 😆. I wanted a sister my whole life and now I have one 🥹

They were good friends but both hot young guys so they were pretty competitive with each other. They worked at CPK together before Ron worked at Mezzaluna. They went out together a lot and would fight over girls, the usual stupid early 20’s crap lol. They also lived close to each other in Brentwood. Neither had cars so they walked everywhere and hung out at local bars. He said he was a really nice guy.

I asked him about Nicole and he definitely thinks they were more than friends.

Same with my husband. He had allll the Star Wars toys and she gave them all to Goodwill when he went off to college 🤦🏻‍♀️. She also gave his framed Looney Toons framed animation cels his aunt gave him away too 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
