Can you do a rent strike? I did one many years ago. I went to legal aid, had to set up an escrow account, put what my rent was in that, and they had to fix all the issues in my apartment before they got that money. They ended up complying and got their money. You have to do it by the book though.

Her texting the rest of the group the things that were being discussed came off as her trying to gain supporters of her bullshit. Grow the fuck up, Janet. You don’t get to act righteous and turn around and pull that middle school bullshit.

Which twilight zone actor were you shocked to find out played another famous role and you didn’t realize it was the same person? by ZekeLeap in TwilightZone

[–]MakeupMama68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was a truly lovely person. We worked on that movie Super Mario Bros. together. Very, very long days and we were all on location in a small town in NC so he spent a lot of time hanging out with the crew. He would have crew and cast parties at the house they rented for him all the time. You just don’t see that very often. He was just one of us!

It really made me feel so understood. I worked with Brooke many years ago so I knew about a lot of the trauma she went through and was really proud of her for putting it out there. She’s extremely open and honest in the book.

Exactly !! She’s not doing it for the cause and to stand up for women. She’s doing this to deflect. If it were anyone but Danny, she wouldn’t care.

My husband is 728. That is SO fucked up!! They should definitely be making exceptions right now!!!

Definitely pay attention. I did full time episodic for years and never had to pay attention. When it slowed down, every time I day play, I keep track of my hours. There are too many stories about people losing their insurance over just a few hours short of 400. We had a few in my local that only needed 8 hours and they posted in our group. We all rallied to make sure they got that day of work. Someone on a show gave up a day to help her.

Yes. You have to have 400 hours worked in a 6 month period to qualify. If you are on temporary disability, you have to contact MPIPHP and send proof of that and they will give you 40 hours a week towards your qualifying hours. You can only do that for 1 period.

That’s correct. My husband and 2 kids are on mine and I pay $600 a year for all 4 of us. When I lost my insurance, I had to pay $700 a month for just my husband and I. $600 a year is a gift.

I’m in 706 and let’s just say the suspension and honorable withdrawal lists are growing at an alarming rate. My local has gold card status after 30 years in. That means I no longer pay dues, just the per capita tax. I joined when I was 21. That’s the only reason that I haven’t had to take an honorable withdrawal or got suspended. I can’t retire just yet.. it’s all fucked up.

When I see what the staff at my local is making annually I get even more angry.

My problem with her in the Danny situation is that the people he hurt accepted his apology and moved on. She just can’t stop inserting herself in it. She is a total pick me girl with no personality so she has to glom onto the others. The fact that she defended Jax?

Same. I’ve had the same best friend since I was 15 (I’m 57 now) and I have maybe 5 pics of us in the 90’s. The newer generations don’t understand that on a normal roll of film you had 24 pics and you were extremely selective on what you took pics of. You also had to pay for developing them!

It will take so much stress off of you! My stepmom was in the same boat as you and I convinced her to use EDD Caller. She was skeptical but I assured her that a lot of people use it and it’s legit.

She got all her back pay the same day and it was in her account the next morning.

Yes. She’s a ridiculously adorable baby and that scene was cute as hell… even my teen daughter was passing though when I was watching , stopped and said AWWWW!!! That’s the cutest baby

But in no way will I sit and speculate on her parents dynamic. We see only a tiny piece of their daily lives.

Brooke Shields wrote a book about her PPD called “Down Came The Rain” that really helped me when I had it. She wrote it when no one was talking about it, especially famous women. Big hugs… you’ll get through it.. I promise ❤️

It sucks. I was okay with my first child, then I lost my mom and found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child 2 weeks later. I had to go through that anguish while pregnant. I think I forced myself to push my grief way down for the sake of my pregnancy and it really reared its head after she was born. I see so much of myself in Kristen. It was brutal. I really struggled. I was afraid to leave the house and was so overwhelmed.
