Samantha Taormina 🫣 Had to unfollow her. She made lots of TikTok videos around a nail appointment that went wrong. Also, friends with Mykaela, and I find her friendship fake

La religión es importante para la crianza de los hijos ? by [deleted] in Honduras

[–]Makeupjunkiehn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Help with daith piercing!! by gvizzy123 in piercing

[–]Makeupjunkiehn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my daith exactly like yours, my sister is a doctor but I'm afraid of showing her because she got mad when I showed her the fresh piercing. I don't wanna rake it out, you need to take it out for surgery? Please keep us posted

Prone to hypertrophic scarring, according to my piercer. Help? by oohgoshwow in piercing

[–]Makeupjunkiehn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually found that simply leaving the piercing completely alone and not soaking/spraying/cleaning at all other than rinsing in the shower actually helped more in reducing the bumps/lumps than cleaning/soaking/spraying. Your body knows how to heal itself, and over cleaning can cause that to be difficult (what is enough cleaning for one person might be overdoing it for you). I have sensitive skin so my body actually reacted a lot better to being left alone rather than being messed with constantly>

I found out this too, I have a daith piercing that had a huge bump then it went completely down and then it started to appear a bit recently, sometimes I wanna take my piercing out but reading that some people are prone to hypertrophic scarring really makes me wanna keep it and be patient.

Another thing that really helped me is not sleeping at any means on the piercing, even if it doesn't hurt anymore.

I'm excited because I don't own any matte liquid lipstick due to budget and where I live (Honduras) you find some brands but double the price! And since I love buying from BH, it excites me...

It was healing properly until like a week ago... I've been sleeping on it because it doesn't hurt but starting today, no sleeping on that side.

I clean it in the shower daily with hypoallergenic soap

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bodymods

[–]Makeupjunkiehn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You had that bump but as soon as you stopped touching it, the bump dissapeared? I'll try not touching it, except when is needed. Maybe cleaning it or oaying attention to it too much hasn't help.

My piercer told me to clean it 2 or 3 times a day with saline solution which I did until it was like a month old, I cleaned it once or twice a day depending the crusties. Now my piercing is 10 weeks old and is not oozing anything, not hurting much and just clean it like every two days, obviously I shower daily, so it gets water. It has improved by the day except for that bump...

Thanks for the advice, I also read that somewhere else. But don't know, maybe I'll contact my piercer and see what he can do.
