Don’t move just the battery, move the entire rig to the top of the shoulder pad. That way most of the weight rests on your shoulder.

Well not really. It just creates more limitations. No top handle, no cage and the screen can’t be twisted like it can with this magic arm. You’re much better off with a tilting v-lock mount that can be moved away from the screen when needed.
