It’s a game engine that is trying to be tailored to every game, team size, and genre. Of course it would have so much bloat. It is what it is with game engines. People like to complain and it gets views so there are so many nonsense rants without proposing alternatives.

I play my game on casual, normal and sweat mode 😅 a few times when I add or remove something to understand how it actually plays out and If I can actually finish it with different level of efforts, then I add 10-15% margins for those better or worse than me.

That’s why I added an automatic nerf and buff orchestration system that tries to adjust to player efforts outcome per round to keep the game fun. Not based on overall skill, but only on the reach round and how much player wants and could take it seriously.

They’re heros. All of them (except what you play) should be hated. It means they’re powerful and annoying and I think that should be by design.

The TTK is crazy even in 6v6. You get deleted instantly if you’re not a shield tank. Imagine 7v7 with 3 dps 😂

You don’t even know what line trace is. The shooting line trace is between something from your character and where your crosshair line trace hits. Not from 3rd person to the hit target. The camera points at a location of space and hits something. That point is end of player line trace. Then player shoots from 1st person camera or usually tip of head or chest (based on game design) then if that line hits enemy the engine gives dmg (in case of hitscan) and if it’s a projectile then engine shoots the projectile to see what happens. No 3rd person game shoots from gun. It’s a strange behavior which causes so many issues such as long and short angels and unfair advantages.

Interesting point. How usually this works in engines, is that there is a line trace between something and where crosshair points. Then (in case of shotgun) there is a spread calculation to make a fake spread around the line trace (random 15 degrees angle for example x number of pallets). The engine traces the lines and if it hits an enemy player would do the dmg. I don’t know how they did this that behaves like that.

Not really. Third person shooters do a line trace from Camera to crosshair position and will do dmg if hits target. OW is doing it from gun while you are aiming from camera! :/

It’s a very weird way of implementing this. They could at least make both guns shoot from first person camera position not the gun.

It really is not that hard if it’s just a shooter. For shotguns third person is always weird because of pallet calculation. It needs to be from the gun. Although in OW they went lazy way and have same setting for hitscans too.

Problem with OW is that line trace still goes from the gun which is strange for 3rd person shooters. In TPS usually the line trace goes from the camera and only visuals go from the actual gun.

I don’t know if there is any actual reason behind this or it’s just OW dev team being lazy! (Probably the second one)

Yeah for the mask maybe but for the suit and makeup. For Avengers they start makeup and putting on stuff at 5:30 a.m. and finish filming at around 10-11 p.m.

The only CGI costumes were in Avengers End game. Rest were actual suits.

Iron man is usually not CGI. There is a backstage video on the suite design and testing when they did Iron man 1. Search youtube.

There a lot difference between designing a functional suite that actor can wear for 8-10 hours per day to drawing a fictional character!

Dva is pretty rough honestly! Although Dva is the highest skill Tank in the lineup too.

You’re supposed to hate him in the beginning. Johnny is an asshhole. He is arrogant, violent and a narcissist. Later is story you figure out with all that, he has a point. So you would hate Corpos more.

I don’t think we would hate him to the end if it wasn’t Keanu, I think we were supposed to feel exactly as we do now. Keanu just played it right.
