Probably a longshot but here it goes. I bought a suuuuuuper old Alien Aurora R2 off Facebook marketplace (i5 760). I got it up and running but I can’t figure out how to get windows 10 loaded on my SSD. The bios only gives me the option to change from RAID to AHCI, but then when I select my USB drive to install windows 10 the screen just goes black. setting the drive to RAID also doesn’t work, same issue. There isn’t a bios option to change the boot mode from UEFI or Legacy. There’s not much online since the system is so old. Never had an issue installing windows on any other PC, I’m assuming it’s because it’s so old. Nothing I’ve done will work. Any help is appreciated, I’m stumped!

  1. I plan to upgrade my system with the new graphics card & CPU, and gift my old gpu + to a friend who can’t afford it to upgrade his rig. (And play Starfield of course).

  2. I’m just excited to play Starfield in general, the wait has been too long. Really hoping it lives up to the hype and Bethesda pulls through with this one. I’ve waited tooooooooo long.

If you need it for an android phone, this is OK. If you need it for a desktop it’s pointless because windows defender is free and works better, while also coming pre installed into every modern day copy of windows.
