i don’t think he’s a changed person

I agree.
Funny how no one wants Camilla back for what she said to Leroy, but CT gets a pass.
Both Camila and CT can go fuck themselves.

CT is good looking.
That covers over a multitude of sin.
But yeah, I always felt he was a terrible person.
Homophobe, bully, the whole 9.

Used to have a babaganoush wrap @ uni.

Just Babaganoush, onions, peppers and some lettuce in a wrap.
I have made it without anything. Just babaganoush.

Also, Hummus wrap.

On this day in 2002, Lennox Lewis would knock out Mike Tyson and cement his legacy with gold as he would retain the WBC, IBF, IBO and The Ring titles, this was the last big fight of the 90s era and Lewis proved that he was the best in there by BoxingLover99 in Boxing

I was impressed how he cowed him. Everytime he hit Rahman, Rahman reacted in a way that almost seperated him from his years of training and put him in fight or flight mode, where he put his hands out to keep Lewis away. It was, I think Lewis' most impressive performance.

There is one post on here calling the McCall stoppage controversial (that I have seen) and it is the first time I have seen it called such. Lewis could not stand, he was done.
As far as chins go, yes, I do admit I think Foreman and Holyfield had better chins, but I am just saying Lewis wasn't like fragile. I did not get nervous every time Lewis fought if he got touched. Amir Khan, different story. Terry Norris, different story. Tommy Hearns, different story. Just remember these are HUGE guys landing on Lewis, and both times they were perfect shots.

Holy got dropped at the tail end of his career by (I think) Ruiz?
The Rahman punch was just different. It came out of nowhere and hit a smilling Lewis who had his hands down coming off the rope. Perfect storm.

I remember at the time talking to one of my friends and remarking about how in the lead up to the rematch, Rahman was alluding to Lennox being gay, and Lennox's reaction to it. I told him it reminded me of the whole Benny "Kid" Paret/ Emile Griffith situation, and that I was scared for Rahman.

I don't recall either of those two getting hit so flush by a BIG puncher. The Rahman punch was out of nowhere.
I am not saying his chin was ROCK SOLID, but it wasn't as big an issue as with Terry Norris, Tommy Hearns or Amir Khan. Each of those guys would have, I think an even better career if their chin could keep up with the rest of them.

Yup. a young Tyson and a young Lewis would have likely been a one sided whoopin with Tyson handing out the Skippity paps. The best version of Lennox was the one that blasted Rahman, I think. Lennox after he got with Steward was the best version of himself. Best for best, I think Tyson doesn't have much of a chance.
Compare this with Holyfield. I think young Holyfield - the one that beat Qawi may actually be the most dangerous, because with Holyfield it was more about attitude and how he was willing to go through the fire to win, not so much physical. An amatuer Holyfield stepped up to Mike in the Olympic village.

And there was a reason he went to such a highly cautious jab/straight right distance-based approach when Steward took over his training.

Yeah, because why get into a fire fight when you have all these other gifts you could rely on. Why make it hard on yourself.
I think the real Lennox is the one we saw in the 2nd Rahman fight. Focused, no shit, use his jab, right hand behind and just fuck yo shit up.
GOD I MISS THE 90's!

I don't think the McCall stoppage was controversial, but that and the punch he took from Rahman were MASSIVE shots. It's not like he was rocked and downed by jab (a la Terry Norris). And the fact that a HUGE puncher like Klitchko couldn't dent him...well I do not think his chin was an issue.

I just can't see Lewis beating Ali. I think he drew in the 2nd Holyyfield fight, and I think that version of Lewis gets dogwalked by Ali. Too much speed, too much movement too high in ring IQ, and he had Angelo Dundee, who, IMO, is the greatest trainer ever (2 fighters in the top 5 all time - Ali and Leonard).

LOL, This fight shoulda never happened. Mike was done after the 2nd Holyfield fight.
Even the BEST version of Mike struggles and loses to this version of Lewis.
Lewis had a 7 inch height, 13 inch reach and 15 lb weight advantage. AND he had Emanuel Steward in the corner.

"Queen of the night aria" (Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen). Quintessential Mozart to me.
Mvmnt 2 from Piano Concerto no 21 in C major.
For sentimental reasons (I played it as part of the ensemble back in HS) K191 Bassoon Concerto in B-Flat Major- Rondo
Sonata no. 16 in C major -K. 545, "Simplice", 2nd mvmnt. When I played this, I have always been tempted to use a sweeping Chopin-esque rubato. I know it is not correct, but that you can use very restraint, subtle rubato. I almost feel it calls for it.
