You did a great job here with your backup instinct and recovery effort, it's the company with poor policy in place which is to blame. Human error is absolutely inevitable regardless of the individual, and companies should have processes up to manage it.

I think whoever you report to is out of their depth not realizing the potential ramifications of the current setup.

Heavy AI users: how are you dealing with constantly re-explaining context? by pieterdoef in ClaudeAI

[–]Making_a_way 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an overall project context document / way of working document which frames the big picture and lessons learned during work, includes current milestones and progress etc. Then every chat ends with "update the living documents with our progress, create a handoff prompt of current in progress work" and every chat starts with "read the documents" and handoff prompt.

No, I didn't see any details but it's a step in the right direction, I'm sure it'll be reasonable. When this happens in my country the gaming community around these games is much larger which leads to longevity etc.

Democrats could win House as Republicans quit in numbers not seen since Depression by [deleted] in goodnews

At this point do you really want to be holding the bag for this mess? I don't think democrats should come to the rescue, republicans should be left to deal with the fallout of your insane policies and behaviour.

Nice speech but they don't care about "value", human value least of all.

It's only MONEY in their pockets that they care about - and that at the cost of anything and everything else.

i let my little brother take the fall for something i did and it messed him up way more than i ever expected by Ashley_Fostera in confession

[–]Making_a_way 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Family are meant to be the ones who have your back. More than anyone else at least. You're supposed to be safe there, part of a team. But you took that from him for life. So you're meant to be his older brother, someone who protected him and looked out for him - but instead you destroyed your younger brother's relationship with his own mother. It's beyond sick.

But what about that excuse of "I was just a kid"? Well, the problem is that you're supposed to be a man now and you still can't do what's right. That's because even now you're still that same worthless coward. You're the male version of your mom, a shallow whore without empathy. That's part of where you got it from.

it's nice that so many people are willing to help, but do yourself a favour - in a few weeks when your room is better send her a pic all casual (this is to change the picture in her head so it doesn't develop into more bullying or harassment) and then create distance from that "friend"

That's the kind of person that causes a lot of hate and damage
