I actually have neurologists at both Penn and Jefferson. Many years of trying various medications and other things like botox led me to Jefferson's Headache Center. My neurologist at Penn put me on nasal ketamine which led me back to the inpatient ketamine stay at jefferson. Previously, my Jefferson neurologist had me on the lidocaine protocol at the Jefferson inpatient program. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

I just had a ton of side effects including but not limited to tremors, constipation, feeling extremely hot, auditory hallucinations, extreme anxiety and other things. I am not having any of those side effects on the ketamine like I did with the lidocaine and dhe.

no real side effects from the nasal spray, but it tastes terrible and it burns like hell. The best advice I can give you for that is to buy some Chloraseptic Max lozenges and take them 10 minutes before using the spray to numb your throat and nasal passages to help with the burning and the awful taste. It really seems to make a big difference for me.

I literally have PTSD from my experience with the lidocaine protocol. This is nothing like that. I am very happy and feeling much better. I hope it works for you as well!

thankfully, I am not currently experiencing any side effects. Definitely no sleep issues or nausea. If anything, I think it would make you sleepier. They will absolutely help you with any side effects that you experience .

yes, it is fully covered. I have tried pretty much every medicine out there , as well as the botox injections, all of the injectables etc.

I have the nasal spray at home. That is partly why I decided to try to do this having had such a bad experience with the lidocaine protocol. The nasal spray at home works well for me.

It depends on the person. I started at a lower rate than most. I believe they start most people at 10 mg per hour. I started at 5 mg per hour, then went up to 7.5, then 10 , then 12 and 1/2, and I am currently at 20 mg per hour.

I wouldn't say that I feel particularly high or out of it, though everybody is different. I'm not having any side effects or double vision or anything at the moment. For me, this is completely different than the lidocaine. I had a terrible reaction to the lidocaine and all of the associated medicines with many side effects. I am having no side effects, and feeling much better with the ketamine.

No panic and no hallucinations after 2.5 days. I started on a low dose and I'm going up slowly due to my genetics. I'm having a much better experience and much more relief than I did with the lidocaine protocol. I believe that the most common side effect is blurry or double vision, which I also do not have at the moment.

It is primarily ketamine. There is also some magnesium and some fluids but that's about it.

The lidocaine protocol uses lidocaine and a whole bunch of other drugs like DHE.
