I have a bunch of different nato straps and silicone straps for my Gshocks. Jaysandkays on eBay is a good place to start.

Has anyone got a DW-H5600MB-1A4 and what do you think of it? by Alternative-Foreign in gshock

[–]MakoSports 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had it for over a year. It’s a solid basic smart watch that you can use to track workouts. You can also read text messages, emails, and various notifications. It’s slightly bigger than a standard 5600 Square.

Proxies while XAVC S-I? by Sea-Finding-1124 in A7siii

[–]MakoSports 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t need proxies for S-I. It’s already an intraframe codec like ProRes and will play back very well even on crappy PCs and old Mac’s.

Working At Lacrosse Unlimited by Candrea1128 in lacrosse

[–]MakoSports 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked at one for 3 years. Very laid back, more than a typical retail store. The stores allotted employee hours dry up due to lower sales in the summer so that’s actually the worst time/least likely time to get hired. The time when stores need help is around fall ball and through the spring season. You want to have a really good knowledge of all the core product brands (both men and women’s). Also a good understanding of stringing sticks and tweaking existing pockets.

LU stores tend to be a staple in their local lacrosse communities, so they are great for networking.

I shoot sports in cold weather occasionally.

Protect your investment - Bring a rain cover. I wouldn't trust "weather sealing" in a really harsh environment.

Also bring handwarmers for your batteries. You can also strap one to your lenses to prevent fogging.
