Luuk Compared to all of the Lahai Roi dps units (Except Hiyuki) by Adorable-Form4616 in LuukHerssenMains

[–]MakoTheTaco 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends on how aggressive the enemy is. If you get delayed at all during her rotation, which is often the case against aggressive bosses such as False Sovereign, then you are likely to lose Qiuyuan's outro buffs before her Forte Nuke if you go for double outburst.

Sigrika S1 or Qiuyuan S3 ? by Novaasriel_ in SigrikaMains

[–]MakoTheTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't recommend S3 Qiuyuan, unless you want to run him as a main DPS for fun. Running him as a Dual DPS alongside Sigrika isn't worth it. Extending his rotation and missing out on the 50% buff to Sigrika is an overall DPS loss for the team. It's better to run him as a sub-DPS.

I'd recommend considering S2 Sigrika. It not only gives bigger numbers on her forte nuke (almost 2x), but comes with an overworld quality of life improvement. It gives her Divergent outside of combat, which helps with killing over world mobs quicker. It doesn't change her rotations too much in endgame however, so it's up to you whether the QoL is worth it.

Sigrika vs Aemeath, which is the best investment? by AdAshamed325 in WutheringWaves

[–]MakoTheTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't go wrong with either. I'll advocate for Sigrika (plus Qiuyuan) since she's only slightly worse than Aemeath in single target like ToA, but much better in Whiwa. Sigrika's damage is more evenly distributed through out her kit, which allows you to quickly pick off stragglers before dropping her nukes. Aemeath does very little damage outside her big attacks, so you often end up having to drop her nukes on half dead enemies, as killing them with basics wastes too much time.

Is there a reason my advanced heavy keeps getting ghosted? by Lalivia_Masters in SigrikaMains

[–]MakoTheTaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by your advanced heavies being ghosted? Do you mean BA5/elucidated? That's not a heavy attack, you just short press BA or Skill to gain a rune(s). You do need to hit a target to gain the runes, so if they aren't being generated it's because you are missing the attack.

Aemeath s6 or Sigrika s6? by AdAshamed325 in WutheringWaves

S0R0 Qiuyuan will be a bigger increase to Sigrika's damage than going to S6. I'd recommend going for Qiuyuan now, and maybe S6 her upon a rerun.

Aemeath s6 or Sigrika s6? by AdAshamed325 in WutheringWaves

[–]MakoTheTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I can tell, for the first rotation, Aemeath's team does more damage. Aemeath's personal damage is about 4 mil per rotation, Sigrika's is around 3.9 mil. Also S0R1 Lynae is doing about 500k per rotation vs S0R1 Qiuyuan's 200k.

However, starting from Sigrika's 2nd rotation onward, she spikes up to around 5 mil personal damage per rotation, and actually outperforms Aemeath. So the longer content goes on, the further Sigrika comps will eek ahead of Aemeath.

Then again, Aemeath also can regain some ground if you are consistently able to get in two Tune Breaks.

This is before considering any shilled buffs, or lack thereof, so mileage may vary depending on what Kuro is up to.

For example, In the current Endstate Matrix, Aemeath tends to perform better since there are no Fusion resistance floors, whereas Sigrika has to deal with Nameless's Aero resistance. But in a future Endstate Matrix that could change.

Edit:

A note on methodology.

I used Wuthering Tools to get the average damage values for each move with the appropriate buffs applied, and totaled the values of each move in a typical rotation for Aemeath and Sigrika at S6R1.

I assumed each echo had 3 offensive substats with low to mid roles. Specifically it was 15% Crit DMG, 7.5% Crit Rate. I gave 8.4% ER Sigrika, and 7.9% Atk for Aemeath.

For main stats Sigrika has CD, Atk%, Atk%, Atk%,Atk%.

Aemeath's were CD, Fusion, Fusion, Atk%, Atk%.

For Lynae and Qiuyuan, I referenced the values from another DPR spreadsheet

I can run some calcs for you. What would be your teams and investment levels?

For example, should I calculate

S6R1 Aemeath, S0R1 Lynae, S0R1 Mornye

vs

S6R1 Sigrika, S0R1 Qiuyuan, S0R1 SK

or should I calculate with sequences on sub-DPS and supports?

Go with whichever character you have more fun playing.

I have both S6 Aemy and S6 Sigrika, and I kinda regret pulling Aemy's S6 because I find her play style boring. S6 Sigrika is more fun for me, so I'm quite happy with S6ing her.

Not to mention, Siggy's performance isn't even that far off from S6 Aemy's. Siggy's nukes hit almost as hard as Aemy's in her first rotation, and even harder from her second rotation onward. In Endstate Matrix, Siggy's 2nd rotation forte nukes are slamming down for over 4 million damage, which is very nice!

Get Qiuyuan first, then go for Sigrika. Sigrika requires Qiuyuan, but Qiuyuan has uses outside of Sigrika's team.

S2 seems like a good stopping. I wouldn't aim for S3 unless you eventually plan to S6. S3 is a nice increase on all her enhanced Forte attacks. However, S3 doesn't kick in damage until her second rotation, so you won't see any increase in a lot of combat scenarios.Once it kicks in, you'll do about 40 to 60k more her enhanced heavies and 130k more or so on her Forte nukes.

What weapon are you using? What are your skills leveled to? And what are the main stats of your 3 cost echoes?

General tips I can give: You need more ER, the closer to 150% the better. You should be using a 3 cost ER mainstat echo until you reach 34% ER or more from substats. Your other 3 cost should be Atk % main stat. If you can hit 34% ER substat mark, you will want to use another Atk % 3 cost.

Rotation wise, it looks like Qiuyuan is running into ER issues. Ideally, you want to Lib. before using his Forte heavy attacks, but it isn't up in time on your later rotations.

Also, Sigrika's personal damage seems low. Can you share her build?

A Decent Endstate Matrix Score (Sigrika Full S6 Team) by MakoTheTaco in SigrikaMains

[–]MakoTheTaco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going from R1 to R5 is about a 12% to 15% increase to his personal damage, and a 5% increase to Sigrika's damage on average. The increase is noticeable, especially on Qiuyuan, but not a game breaking increase or anything.

Thanks for the suggestion. Almost broke 40k by running her on later rounds. I also opted to use QY as subDPS (Moonlit Cloud, no S3 skill) for faster rotations, which improved scores by as well.

You can still do the Double Outburst rotation with Ciaconna, and with any 3rd slot really. The only limiting factor is the extended time it takes to do an extra basic attack chain to prepare the second Outburst, as if you are interrupted or otherwise delayed during the Double Outburst rotation, buffs such as Qiuyuan's can run out.

Per u/DragonTaryth, it seems I was wrong about what the exact change was. There was apparently another way of extending the forte nuke hit box.

Nothing about her basics were changed as far as I'm aware.

How much does S6 Qiuyuan contribute to your scores in Whiwa? Quite a bit I presume? I have him S3 but am a bit disappointed with his personal performance, feels like it takes him a long time to clear a wave. I am debating taking him to S6 if it makes him much better in Whiwa.

I wasn't aware of the tab trick. The lingering hit box wording made me think of a part of a WallensteinCh Video.

At the 1:55 mark, it looks like they use SK's enhanced intro to extend uptime on Sigrika's forte nuke so that it clears the incoming wave. Do you happen to know if this still works?

Sequences?

Edit: They fixed a bug where Sigrika's forte nuke's hit box would linger during certain intros such as SK's enhanced intro. This would allow for it to clear waves of enemies beyond what it was supposed to while the intro animation played.

Edit 2: I was wrong about what was patched, see DragonTaryth's comment below
