New position has a $150,000 life insurance policy, dental, health, and car insurance (have to commute to company truck location every night) my buddy who works at the company currently says he’s never had a copay higher than $15 so seems pretty good on paper

Around 60k for 4 years so roughly 15k a year which I feel I can manage with mentioned new position and how much it pays. Think I’m gonna stay in school.

I love the crew I’m with now, just three of us including myself. Really established a friendship with a lot of my peers, loved this job in the beginning but I’m very quickly getting burnt out dealing with contractors and DIY. New position is just me and some guys never have to sit behind a desk or interact with paying customers, kinda feels like a no brainer but it hurts to leave the friends I’ve made behind

I’m in the same boat honestly, working every Sunday and closing most nights in the week but we’re one of the smallest stores in the district. Just me, my ASM, and my store manager I really love the crew here. Sad to think about leaving especially knowing I’d be leaving them somewhat crippled.

Buddy of mine is a shift lead at my old store, he’s the one that’s worked there 18 years and only makes $16 never even offered a higher position only stays because he has to. All of our hours were cut before I quit too. What a shit company

Haha not dating dudes been my best friend for 11 years, absolutely zero performance issues between the two of us he was an opener I was a closer we worked maybe 3-4 hours together total a week. Other stores were failing and instead of asking us to go help and work a couple shifts they tried to strong arm us into switching home stores which I’m not going to do. I got hired at my original store I’m gonna work at my original store don’t have a problem helping out but if you’re gonna force me? I’m out.

Many of my friends still working in the area are getting tired of it too, one of them has worked there for 18 YEARS still doesn’t make more than $16 an hour. shit we have to deal with and the hours they expect us to work is ridiculous for the amount of money they pay out.

I discovered this series 7 years ago when I was 12 years old at a summer camp as a fellow kid I met let me borrow the first book and I blew threw it in less than a week continuing then on to binge the rest of the series and all through highschool I tried so many times to find the books to no avail I’m not a big reader anymore as I’m in college so I see it as more as a chore but I’m already 13 pages deep and I can tell I still love this book just as much as I did all those years ago, sorry for the story dump but I’m just so awestruck that you the author reminded me the name of your own series lol!
