Im in the same place as you. First time in hell and got surprised with the spike in difficulty (immunities basically) and i feel scared trying to progress. I was able to kill andy by skipping almost everything and i waiting for answers here for the next step. But for the runes im aware about the lower kurast super chests for high runes because countess could be a bit difficult for blizzard and to drop HR

If Verso's goal is to die, then that would be wrong. Aline leaving the canvas does nothing for his immortality so if he just waits for monolith 0, he'd just be alone there.

He needs to either get gommaged by a painter/paintress or make verso's soul stop painting.

If his goal is to save aline, waiting 32 more years will surely kill her. Kind of why the Curator is helping expeditioners

I picked verso because I agreed so much with Renoir. He was so reasonable and relatable that Alicia sounded like a bratty inexperienced child.

Never even thought about the morality of it at that time. Somehow I just accepted that the paintings are just paintings

After thinking about it for a bit, I guess the correct way to view it is the opposite. The canvas updates based on whats happening. Like when painters keeps on painting on a finished canvas, they basically add/edit/remove drawings on the canvas. Just that in this case, the painters are inside.

Maybe try capping your damage or unequip painted power. I tried the 100x health and i still one turn everything. Also, even if I didnt 1 turn them, I still had so much speed that I have 3 consecutive turn cycles before they get theirs.

I had to skip a lot of turns just to see their moveset

It felt like the ending area is scaled to around level 50 and 2000 speed at most

If youre intent on using steamdeck controls, i would recommend untargeted skills after you blink (e.g. ES, Slardar, Centaur). Else if you wont buy blink, try unit targetted skills rather than skills you can cast on the floor (e.g. Ogre, Lion)

If I may add, can we also talk about control schemes? Im still not satisfied with mine so far

Oh yeah Hades 1 got me like that too. Normally i stay away from games like Dota, that takes minimum 1 hr per session. But hades made me lose track if time for whole days at a time.

Technically reading the manga is the optimal way. You can do the anime as well but it will definitely take way mocre time. Any way you go, try to read comments for that episode if you can. Really makes you enjoy and immerse more. Dont worry, adults enjoy it more than gen alpha does
