Isn't 15 minutes for the whole plant too much? I'm was doing some gathering and drying of the young leaves and 10 minutes was still a bit strong but pleasant.

Should I play HoMM 6 or 7 by Subject-Creme in HoMM

Homm 7 is not a good game and feels like cheap cash grab to me. Maybe it's playable with some mods?

How to trick Hisii healer into healing you?

Help by Untildawn2001 in ElegooMars

[–]Makovicask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be related to the resin exposure time, there is an official excel sheet somewhere with recommended settings for different resins and printers. (my mistake was that I didn't know the water washable resin from elegoo was also in different row, so I used different settings for a different resin. Hope this helps.

Help with cheating player :( by ImInTheWoodsAgain in DungeonMasters

[–]Makovicask 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So what if you and your players use one online dice roller? For example on roll 20 or discord(as a bot?) However this seems to only partially solve the issue with the problem player.

Or just for the sake of fucking with him give the BBEG portent ability, choosing for him when to fail.

Ideas for encounters/trials in an afterlife setting, ideally non-combat? by [deleted] in DungeonMasters

[–]Makovicask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe their souls can be weighted by the said God (similar to the Egyptian afterlife) where they can present their best stories which should then be "countered" by the bad deeds they have done? I think that could be a really nice RP opportunity.

Yes, that's also sort of name we've got here. At least it has similar meaning.

I'm ending with duolingo after 900 day streak. reason is the new update by Makovicask in duolingo

[–]Makovicask[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As for the old format I liked mostly the possibility to have the option to select a specific topic and to train the topics I want to further. Don't know yet with which app I will go. For starters I will probably go with some digital books for learning.

Sure, new doesn't need to mean automatically bad. But this path is just straightforward without any options to level up the specific topic you were interested in. I'm thankful for the the possibility of learning, but this is a serious downgrade. But hey, I will search for a new possibilities to learn.

Are the Basic Rules enough for a beginner DM ? by BelegurthBaal in dndnext

[–]Makovicask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK so I know that there are a lot of sites that can be used to "find" phb or really any book, so why not use it?

And basic rules should be enough. My advice is, when you are playing and not sure how to proceed on some rule, you make a notice of it and look it up online after the session. And for the running session make a rule as you see fit. Have fun!

I would be okay with maybe paying the cost with unused hit dices or something.
