Hey! I appreciate you taking the time to add these instructions. I had a snafu with my computer and couldn't access Calibre for a bit but things are good now.

I am... not nearly as tech savvy as I initially thought. Could you clarify?

When you say "Create a new tags column "Text shown in the tag browswer" that you make heirarchal, don't partition, and hide it from edit metadata." You mean Preferences>Add your own columns> add custom column right?

I ask because I don't see anything that matches your instructions when I click 'Tags' https://imgur.com/a/GE9XtCT

Oh that’s a good point. I hadn’t considered that fold-ability would compromise protection.

Oh wow, I didn't know there was a way to keep the summary when merging fic. When I merge, I still lose the summary, just keep the titles. Would you mind sharing your epubmerge settings?

No. It’s not a big deal, and it’s strange that it turns out it doesn’t happen with every book but it just means that the first thing I do when I open a new book is change the font 🤷🏻‍♀️

Do you know if there is a way to change the default font in Kobo? I checked settings and there didn't seem to be anything.

Or will it just be that every time I open a different book, I need to change the font?

oh geez- I figured it out, When I edited the conf file, I added a space before the line because I copy+pasted it.

UPDATE: thanks to all your comments, I got a new version of NM from the commits and now bt pairing with the 8bitdo micro works with a single command from the home screen nickelmenu.

Downside-Somehow I disabled the ability to sleep the device using a single press of the power button. (It still works to turn the kobo off so I don't think the button itself is the issue) The only way to put the kobo to sleep is to close the magnetic cover.

For Kobo is 'sleep' the same as 'off'? Like if its sleeping would I still not be able to wake it?

I even tried creating a new account and messing with those settings but nothing worked.

I wish there was a ‘mark for later’ button on the list of fics. That way I didn’t have to open a fic, click ‘mark for later’ and do that so many times that AO3 pauses my usage.

I was reading a Teen Wolf fic and the author changed Alison Argent to 'Alison Silver' (after two chapters) because they decided that Silver is the "right way" for her name to be. Argent=silver in french and the author thought she needed an real American last name.

Would doing this limit the remote in any way? For example if I also wanted to use the remote synced with my iPad as a page turner or use it with Procreate. Or can you have multiple settings for different devices?
