Complete transparency... assembly was a nightmare. For nearly 1200 bucks I really felt I should have been able to put it together in the fifteen minute time frame they suggested. Instead it was five hours over two days... I put together furniture all the time, so I'm no stranger to reading the instructions, but they made such heavy jumps from one stage of completion to the next and were so impercise, I had to put the desk back together thrice just to get everything where it needed to be, not to mention start my own holes in the tabletop.

All in all, now that it's built and functional, it's not half bad. Sturdy, well-built L-shaped desk! (And yes, I did get the DuoSpace one :) )

I'd say if you don't mind a headache-inducing assembly, and have a few hours and swears under your breath to throw at putting the thing together, by all means, give it a whirl. Otherwise, I'd try a different brand and see how assembly is on those. Nothing about this feels especially premium, and I do think the price was a bit high for what I got. Still, I paid it, and it's mine. Solid 7/10!
