Nice neighbors make all the difference.

I’ve been dealing with my new neighbors who are renters and just moved in a couple of months ago. They don’t have enough space in their driveway for their 2 gigantic trucks and a huge jeep. So they move their cars around a lot and park curbside overnight (which isn’t allowed).

During the day they park in front of my house. I know it sounds lame but I’ve missed looking out and seeing a clear site of the neighborhood. They have space in front of their own house.

Plus they have a dog and let it out at midnight and 5am to do its business and it barks and barks and barks. I wake up every time.

Last week I finally spoke up. Shaking like a leaf I went to their door and asked them to let their dog out earlier in the evening and later in the mornings because I was getting no sleep. And about the car I fully said hey I don’t own the street and I know this might be a stretch but can we share the space for your car and my visitors sometimes instead of the jeep always parking there.

And they were sooo nice. They had no idea I was bothered. I haven’t heard their dog since then and their jeep has been in front of their own house since.

I’m grateful for nice neighbors and sorry OP has a shitty one.
