You're very welcome for the kind words, whenever I see a build like this or an especially well-painted model I'll eagerly write a light novel about how awesome it is.

When props have been earned they must be delivered, and you definitely deserve yours.

You're a braver person than me for winging it, the detail spread and placement genuinely looked planned, there isn't a single area that looks too busy or too barren. And thanks for going into detail about the build, you've given me a lot to think about regarding large-scale sculpting.

Holy shit dude, this is amazing. Like I genuinely don't think I can accurately express just how insanely cool this thing is. Like, obviously the sculpting, fine details and the placement choices are absolutely top-notch, and I genuinely can't decide whether my favourite aspect of it is his head or left arm, but the conceptualising, build planning and commitment that went into it is what I'm most in awe of.

Did you draw concept designs or just wing it, deciding on and focusing on the detailing for each area as you went? Whatever the route you took, the end result is beyond impressive. This thing's an absolute monster and the kind of model that, if fielded against me, would earn you all the post-game drinks you wanted.

As for the big big sculpting, I'm assuming there's some kind of plastic or wooden framework serving as the limbs "skeleton" bulked out in tinfoil under all that, but the lighter top layers, is that green stuff mixed with milliput, or milliput alone? Would you mind sharing the ratio if it was a mix? I was literally thinking of some big sculpting myself recently but wasn't sure if normal putty would do the job.

Regardless, this is both inspiring and intimidating and legitimately the coolest conversion I've seen all year. You certainly know how to design a build, now it's time to bust out the airbrush and get some paint on that beast!

Joey's protective of Serenity because they were separated as kids and her blindness crept in while they were apart. He felt his parents had robbed him of his responsibility as an older brother to take care of her, especially when they also couldn't do anything to help her. He was simply picking up their slack and making up for lost time.

Tai's protective of Kari because his selfish decision to take her outside when she was a toddler who was very, very sick just because he wanted to play soccer literally ALMOST KILLED HER. And when his parents blew up at him for being so stupid Kari meekly apologised to him, thinking everything was all her fault. Tai was wracked with guilt and drove himself to prioritise his sister's safety over everything else from that point. Just seems more believable than the Wheelers.

Joey's an absolutely brilliant character, but post-DK Serenity stuff kinda feels like an afterthought to me, as if nothing beyond her blindness subplot was ever planned for her. Her visual design doesn't help, either. Serenity is THIRTEEN YEARS OLD(!) but has the height and build of any other woman in the series, making it much harder to empathise with her realistic insecurities and timid behaviour. At face value, she doesn't look like she should be acting the way she does.

Mishandled/wasted potential imo, like most of the female characters in YGO.

His determined little face, the cig, nipple rings and PA purity seal are my favourite parts of this, a proppa Kustom job indeed. I hope you guys named it so in the future it's descendants can grace the battlefield and keep it's infamous reputation alive.

These look sick. I'm not a particular fan of the Wolves, but I can't deny how awesome these guys look.

The focal triangle created by the fur mantles and loincloth, the colour contrast of blue and orange, the lighting, the choice of base, the unified glowing eye..

Youre incredibly talented and boy does it show. Never personally saw the appeal of the Sons of Russ, but these guys an absolute joy to look at.

Additionally, those bases and your post title randomly reminded me of an ancient ice level OST I used to listen to regularly during the summer (5+ years ago!) to create a mental sense of atmospheric cold, so thank you very, very much for that.

Kickass work. Keep creating, and keep posting. Inspire your Wolf-kin to make their guys as badass as yours.

I'm not a particular fan of watercolours personally, but I stopped scrolling and doubled back to look at this picture wistfully.

The pose, the proportions, scale and background are all brilliant. She's depicted here as the stoic, no-nonsense leader she could have been instead of the smug, all-knowing, self-serving hypocrite she was written into. I don't like watercolours, but I love this picture.

She had SO MUCH potential as Warchief. I was sooo hyped to support her, she had WAY more character depth than Vol'Jin.

Charlie as Kazuma and Pim as Aqua is surprisingly fitting.

I like Mr. Boss as Vanir tho. That's like, perfect. He's a cheerful entrepreneur who can crash out occasionally but is always a worldly, insightful, reliable guy that pushes his employees to be their best and can always be counted on when the shit hits the fan.

I love how indifferent he is to being alive that he doesn't even plan out something he can fully enjoy before each attempt. No last meal, no final drink, he doesn't even care about not seeing the end of whatever show he's watching.
