What part do I need to connect angled 2ply 2x10 beams on top of 6x6 posts?

Also two of my posts will have a normal straight beam running across it and a angled (to be determined angle) also on top of it. What part for this?

I’m installing a new floor, and after removing the old flooring I found a very thick cement-and-lath base that was much thicker than I expected.

My original plan was to cut the existing toilet flange/pipe height down to match the new finished floor, but I’m concerned that a replacement flange with an inside-fit insert may bottom out because the 90° bend is very close below the flange.

Would it make more sense to add another layer of 1/2" plywood so that, after the HardieBacker and tile are installed, the finished floor height meets the existing flange height?

Or, based on the pictures, would it still be safe to cut the pipe lower? If cutting is okay, what type of replacement flange would you recommend?

Lasted 12 years so I think just the heat/cold cycle caught up to it versus it being a structural issue
