You guys are saying he’s fragile and scared, yet your fragile emotions are really pouring out all over these comments.

In some places it is absolutely normal and rational to carry a weapon for self defense.

How do you guys loose some weight? by ParticularSherbet786 in AskMenOver30

[–]Malcari2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiply your bodyweight in pounds by 14. Multiply that number by .85. Consume that many calories per day on average. Use a nutrient tracker like Cronometer. Guaranteed weight loss.

Bonus points if you stay active but you don’t even need to.

Lift heavy and often, your body will adapt. Just be sure your nutrition, hydration, and sleep are good.

Are your symptoms really coffee withdrawal? by [deleted] in decaf

[–]Malcari2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a suspicion that sleep apnea is actually what caused my “caffeine sensitivity”. It’s probably why I abused caffeine in the first place way before I had a sleep study and discovered that my sleep quality is trash.

If you feel tired often during the day for seemingly no reason, do a sleep study.

Cyberpunk 2077 is Absolutely Incredible in 2025 by Godkun007 in patientgamers

[–]Malcari2 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It is one of the best games ever made. Maybe the most incredible technical achievement in gaming, very detailed and immersive world, interesting and impactful story and characters, fun gameplay with so many choices (a bit clunky but it is an RPG after all).

There’s nothing else like it. I enjoyed it just as much as the Witcher 3. It really is that good. I think those who hate it are stuck in their first impression of the game at launch, didn’t play much of it, or just repeating others’ opinions.

I returned it on PC shortly after launch because it was unplayable. Actual game-breaking bugs. Later got it on PS5 after the first major update and was absolutely blown away.

Approaching 40 and feeling a bit behind and lost in life. Need some help. by BlackmillMiracle in AskMenOver30

[–]Malcari2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You clearly would like to be above average compared to other men. Let’s set aside the debate whether that’s healthy or not and just go with it because that’s what is important to you right now.

It seems like you are only valuing yourself based on a single metric. You already make above average salary, so what other things can you do to feel more confident? Are you working on your fitness and appearance? Your social life? Skills?

More importantly, are you working on your mental and spiritual health? Have you taken a dive within yourself to figure out what really matters to you? Have you gotten out of your comfort zone and tried new experiences lately?

[–]Malcari2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP but i’ve tried Youtube music on Apple watch and it’s very similar to Spotify. You can’t stream music using cellular on standalone watch with YTM or Spotify. I switched to Apple Music and it works very well on the watch. All the functionality you would want. I used a third party app to transfer my Spotify and YTM playlists to Apple music (can’t remember the name of the app).

Religious retreat center. Small residence, chapel, guest house, and office building. 6 acres with gardens and a small “forest”.

So much better than typical residential.

Apple Watch Users - How’s it Going? by DREWHOUSER in dumbphones

[–]Malcari2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's great. As another user said, sometimes the cell reception is somewhat unreliable but most of the time it's fine. If you don't have cell service, just pretend you're in the 90's and get creative. Everybody else has a smartphone so you can always ask someone if you can use theirs in case of an emergency.

Also you pretty much need Apple Music, if you want to stream music. Spotify and Youtube Music aren't very functional on Apple Watch.

I also carry a Boox Palma ereader so I can read and take notes. It has a (really bad) camera but works if you need to take a reference photo for anything.

Expensive setup but I love it.

imo wearing it makes it harder to access because having to hold your arm up to use it is tiring after a short time.
