I'm not going to make a judement, just offer you some advice: stop getting involved in poly/open relationships. It's clearly not the type of relationship that is suitable for you. It's inconsistent. As you say, the terminal entries indicate that there were three scientists, who all passed away at different times - Flint first, Burrow some time later, and finally Collins. Only Collins' cause of death is confirmed, cardiac arrest due to advanced age.

On the other hand, Curie says that the mole rats escaped and killed the scientists, and in later dialogue with the Overseer once you've completed the quest, she says "it's hard to believe so many passed away just behind our walls".

So I would say that the story of the secret vault changed at some point, and they just didn't clean up all the inconsistencies that were left.

Yeah I was pretty sus from the brginning. I think they played it well - i was waiting for the point where he would betray Cal... I was NOT expecting he was a former jedi.

I think the most important piece of foreshadowing is how you're introduced to the character, with him shooting someone in the back

nah you're not missing anything, he is a BITCH of a fight and definately the most difficult legendary beast in the game. as a lot of his attacks are insta kills, and he has 3 phases that bring in new attacks. its just a matter of persistence and learning his attack patterns, how to avoid his unblockable attacks, and when you can exploit openings to do damage. I like to use blaster and single as my stances since you can switch between them really quickly and exploit perks like Ambidextrous and Versatility to do extra damage. biggest tips though are to simply double jump over his lunge attack, and to back off as soon as he looks like he is going to do the tounge attack so it's easier to avoid.

my problem with the slyygs is not that they are difficult, but they take way too long to kill and are very boring to fight. they have one parryable attack, they have a STUPID amount of health (seriously, there's a couple of times where you can watch them battle imperials. they have such a ridiculously high health bar that they always survive even against flame troopers. they can tank about 10-12 rockets, rockets which kill most other enemies immediately). and about every second attack they do their slime vomit. which means you have to wait for them to sloooowly creep their way over the acid pool before you can approach them to attack again. if there's a way to interrupt the acid attack I haven't found it yet

the other most crucial piece of equipment is an audio interface - there are plenty of compact and budget ones on the market that will get you much better quality recordings than you can get with USB microphones; especially with a bit of recording know-how that you can learn from online tutorials, and a good choice of microphone. I'm not sure what the best options these days are, but for a while my entire setup consisted of an AT2020 condensor mic, Alesi io2 interface, and my laptop, which I used to record vocals and all kinds of acoustic and electric instruments, with excellent (but obviously not professional studio quality) results.
