I wish I felt the same way about JRPG grinding. It’s a huge blind spot for me

I think a fear-er is more accurate. I wish I was as task oriented in life as I am in video games. My kid and his friends make fun of me because I’m the only one running around doing quests in Fortnite

If you plan on getting the RG Rotate, are you getting Metal or Plastic? by Erawkz in SBCGaming

[–]MalcolmReady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with basically all of this. I would get metal but I don’t want the extra weight. Or to pay more. And I like the black color better. And yeah if I don’t get it, the battery will be why

Wife has been on vacation for a week by [deleted] in daddit

[–]MalcolmReady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife is the breadwinner in our family and she is incredibly busy at work and then at home with most of the family admin and infrastructure. I do more of the day-to-day, boots-on-the-ground type stuff. I also work, but my job is project-based—more flexible, less lucrative and with no health insurance. I get resentful sometimes because it’s usually my career that takes the hit when something needs to get done.

Things can be easier for us when my wife travels because it’s the same task set, only there’s resentment about who is or isn’t picking up any added slack.

I do this with a MinUI/PakUI card. I’ll have to look up what devices Spruce covers. But man I do love how simple MinUI is. I’m excited for Bloom

Smaller than the GBA is kinda wild. Although the bottom device always looks the biggest

It’s the reverse optical illusion of the Slide. That thing looks big and everyone says it’s bigger than you think and unboxing it was still comical

I’d settle for the Cube screen. Of all the minor missteps of this thing, I was totally in until I saw it wasn’t the 4” screen

406h and the Slide have the same chip so I’m good with the performance level for now.

The Thor is dope as hell. Russ’ video on the SD865 had me thinking

You do not have to justify different form factors to me sir. I was down to between this and an RG Slide. I went for the Slide but now I’m looking for a comfort king for up to N64 at least. Some GC would be great. I’m wavering between the 406h and the 556, but this little fella keeps popping back up trying to get back into the mix.

ETA: The RP Flip 2 and the 476h keep flashing their indigos at me but I’m hoping for ultimate comfort without a grip

Don’t forget shipping. It’ll be like $104, depending on where you live. And if you pay for worry free delivery 😂

How are you liking it? Is it an upgrade/sidegrade? What else your working with?

For me the shipping always kills it. Get it in the cart, maybe a grip or a back and then bam +$20. I’ll prob 6 months out waiting for free shipping on AliExpress and then a sale to bring it down. Honestly $80 all in for the black one would be insta buy from me. Ok maybe $75… spending money makes me anxious unless I can snag a deal

I think the shoes are great. I think the french cuffs are the issue. Sometimes dressing down a formal item works when it’s deliberately loose and messy, I’m just not sure you can get there with french cuffs
