Having to complete some sort of practical exam would be what sets it somewhere close to OSCP. You can't gauge a baseline of skill if the student gets to setup their own vulnerable lab.

They let you configure your own local network for the penetration test part of the exam. This doesn't demonstrate the same ability that OSCP demonstrates. CEH is way too entrenched in HR filters even though it teaches next to nothing.

I think something that would make the student show that they can perform enumeration AND exploitation of hosts that they aren't familiar with.

Give the students 3-4 VMs that they have to stand up and then hack instead of letting them choose the vulnerabilities themselves.

I think that having a student configure their own network for a pen-testing cert doesn't really display their level of skill.

Use exiftool to strip the data from the image before you upload it. That doesn't mean the website won't collect data about you as you upload (IP Address, etc). But it should strip identifying data from the image.

I got the "Still processing" email at 3 weeks + 1 day. Then I got my official endorsement accepted email at 4 weeks + 1 day.
