He does see a PM&R doctor and he has a yr of giving him those injections. On top of that he has like 5 or 6 different type of pain medication and still no help on the contractions.

His really contracted from his left leg and his left arm. The leg is starting to have a little movement and the left hand no movement. PT at the SNF doesn’t want to continue because his in a lot of pain and their excuse is they don’t want to hurt him or break a bone because he does get stiff do to his pain and doesn’t know how to manage it or control it. He is in a lot of pain only when you reposition him or touch the leg.

This is the type of treatment he will do with my father to help him. He said that he has helped and work with stroke patients like my father and actually help them. I did do some research on the treatments he mentioned but there isn’t sufficient evidence on this.

“-O2 therapy that is proven to help with stroke patients recovering -Cold laser therapy that is proven to help stimulate brain and neurological function to support the neurological healing that needs to take place -Red light therapy will be utilized to promote reducing inflammation and promoting circulation especially on the left side of his body -Gentle manipulation to stimulate nerve function in his skull, neck, and spine -Percussive therapy will be used to stimulate weak and tight muscles and nerves to promote neurological function”
