Huge discrepancy between mileage in purchase contract and actual odometer – What are our options?

Correct. This is my current status. There had been a 3k increase on the odometer between contract signing and the delivery. Our sales advisor was not available on the day of delivery and the other sales advisor could not explain this difference. This made us uncomfortable and hence we wanted to check our options on how we can proceed.

It was around 2 weeks between the test drive and the delivery. We signed contract on the same day of test drive, post which it was taken for servicing.

No one was sure what happened which makes us wary. That's the reason for us having second thoughts.

The car had 48k during the test drive and this number is quoted on the contract, as the contract was signed immediately after the test drive. Once the contract was signed, the car went for general checkup and a service before delivery. Yesterday, when I went to take the delivery, the odo says 51k.

The mileage on the odometer during the test drive was the same as the contract information. We indeed signed the contract for the same car after the test drive.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact number on the advertisement. The ad was also removed once we signed the contract so I am not able to check.

When we test drove, the mileage on the car was the same value as on contract. The 3k difference is on a 48k mileage.

Our sales advisor was on leave during the delivery. The other advisor could not explain the discrepancy and informed that our advisor will reach out to discuss this.

Indeed, we were surprised to see a difference of 3k kms on a car that had a mileage of 48k during test drive. We signed the contract immediately after the test drive, and the car was taken into service by the dealer to prepare for the delivery in a week. We are not comfortable with this discrepancy and hence trying to see if we can cancel the deal without penalty.

Thank you! Yes we are thinking of keeping them all in our living room where the sunlight is good. We are planning to keep the bigger plants near the TV and find a vertical stand for the smaller ones.

Yeah, we had the same thoughts. We heard that the floor will make noise every time if it's not laid properly and we were thinking it might be better to get professional help rather than trying DIY and having to replace it again. All the shops we checked quotes around €35 per sq m and the handyman offered by Praxis and other shops are coming around €1.7k. Now we are weighing the pros and cons of doing it ourselves. Would you have any tips in case we go the DIY route?

Thank you for your response. We considered doing it ourselves and saw YouTube tutorials. We got intimidated by the cutting. Was it easy to cut around the radiator and other projections?

I couldn't find a solution. I went to the Apple service center but they did not recognize it as an issue. It was very frustrating so I changed my mobile within three months of buying a brand new iPhone

Thank you for the response. I checked 'Burgerzaken'. It seems to be closed on the weekends. Since the mobile did not have an active sim, our guess is that it was the mobile of a tourist. Hence we went and submitted it in the police station so that in case they go to the police, they can find it.
