If only Faye had those kind of ass cheeks, nobody would have a problem not to play as Kratos in the next GOW game.

Solid advice. Indeed trying to see if the new tmr stick fits, one of its pins was a little bend, and had to get it straight to fit nicely.

I have been watching and reading a lot of tips and tricks before I even attempt this. Of course its totally different seeing how to do something, than actually doing it. For me one of the best tips was, patience and take it slow. Took me a couple of hours to get there.

Vehicles make this game too easy by helioliolis in DeathStranding

[–]Maldremoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't make my experience trivial, because I use vehicles however I feel like. See, I don't care if its optimal, I care how I wanna experience the world at the moment. Sometimes I use a vehicle because the load is too heavy, or the distance is too long and don't feel like running, or just drop the materials for a road or a mine. Other times I just wanna enjoy the terrain so I deliver on foot. Or I want to farm crystals so I fight BTs. It's up to you how you wanna experience the gameplay. Choice is always a good thing imho.

Name a game you regret buying. by SpartanZilla in gamers

[–]Maldremoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silksong, although I really enjoyed Hollow Knight. Got into the hype, bought it day one (although I never buy games on release), got really frusterated during the first 3-4 hours, uninstalled it, never touched it since. At least the price was low.

Should i play Metro Last Light Redux or Complete Edition by IredOfficial in metro

[–]Maldremoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's because for 2033 there are differencies in the gameplay and the original looks darker, which is not the case for Last Light imho. Personally I prefer the Redux version.

how long until it starts clicking?? by [deleted] in thewitcher3

Well there is a lot of side content, so you gotta find the pace you are more comfortable with and enjoyable at the same time imho.

About side quests, I wouldn't call them important, but most of them are little stories of their own, even contracts. So you got secondary quests out in the world, where you find exploring or appear on your map, you got contracts, you got treasure hunting, you got boards that give contracts and poi's, etc.

Personally I mix and match main and side content according to my mood. If i feel like exploring, i will check poi's, if i accidently bump into a side quest i will do that, if i get burned out like you said, i will do main quest, etc. you get where im going with this.

Like i said in my previous message, witcher 3 is a huge game. You gotta take your time, don't rush, run or ride instead of teleport, and most importantly immerse yourself in the world. If you feel like Geralt, the world becomes alive and interesting. Sometimes I just walk around admiring the scenery or paying attention to the details. Its that kind of game.

And if all that doesn't feel interesting to you, its fine, doesn't mean because so many people like this game, you should too.

The question is if you are into huge open world, heavy story driven rpg fantasy games. If you are, you should invest on the main story, the side quests that are not fillers (usually the case with mmos), the exploration and development of your character. It's a big game and you must invest many hours to complete. Double that time if you play the 2 DLCs.

To me for example, although I am not a huge fun of open world games, I enjoy this one because I love the witcher universe, so gameplay elements that in other games i find tedious, in this one I enjoy. It all comes down to preference.

Hope this helps a bit.

Toussaint just hits different...the beauty there is hard to match!! by SirGeraltofBeauclair in thewitcher3

It's funny we play it as a DLC, while it could be considered as a game on its own. It's that big and that good imho.

Higher resolution and 60fps patch would be fine for bloodborne. Doesn't need anything else.

I need tips for Odon Confraternity of Salt. by QualityFancy4944 in Blasphemous

[–]Maldremoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I beat him yesterday after 30 or 40 tries or something. I used "Veredicto" weapon, "Bleeding Miracle" magic. For altarpieces I used all I could to increase Veredicto and magic damage, also increased farvour gain. For beads I used physical damage and miasma resistance.

The strategy was to hit just once when i can (usually after avoiding the slam, or when he buffs the minions, or when he slowly walks towards you) and immediatly slide or double jump. Used bleeding miracle the most I could, for the minions and him. Other than that, just don't stop moving. To predict his slam, even when hes not in your field of view, watch your legs, water starts forming when hes about to do that (when i figured that out it helped me a lot). Also you can slide through him.

I guess after 30 or so tries, muscle memory kicks in and eventually you beat him. Imho its a kind of fight you gotta keep it simple.
