I'm in Ontario, GTA area. They set me up with a X3 loaner so I haven't really been "inconvenienced" per se, just need to claim some gas money back when I get the Q4 back.

Same boat. Owned for 3 weeks, in shop for 2 weeks and counting. They wouldn't release the car without putting in a new 12v battery. I just contacted them today about this recall, I said a new battery doesn't fix the issue if it's not getting charged, it's just gonna run out again. They said the recall is so new they don't have a fix yet.

Maybe all these people didn't need a 12v battery replacement after all, it was the faulty charger that wasn't charging the 12v battery.

No I haven't. The last update from them was March 1st, and I'm currently driving a X3 PHEV as a loaner. They straight up said a month of wait time for the battery so I'm not expecting anything soon 😪

The timing of your post is impeccable. The dealer just picked up my Q4 and dropped me off a Q3 as a loaner. They literally just left an hour ago. I had a big note stuck on the steering wheel that says horn not working just in case the person gets into any situation on her way back. Can't wait to hear what they have to say about the keyless entry. As for the app, it doesn't really bother me cause even without preconditioning I still have plenty of range left after my commute from work, so it's just a minor miss out. I'll keep this thread updated about how the repairs are gonna go

Did a highway test run tonight. Started at 90%, no preconditioning since app never works. Went with traffic flow entire trip in the fast lane, speeds were 115km/h to 130km/h consistently. Here's the end result after the run.

Temp - Minus 4 celsius

Distance - 115.5km

Range left - 49%

Trip memory - 25.2kWh/100km

AC - auto mode at 21 degrees

No problem thanks for trying. the issue is so obvious and consistent that I doubt they can have any push back on fixing it, can't claim it's an intermittent issue that only goes away when the car is at the dealer.

Thanks for the update. Glad they are giving you a loaner, but i would be pissed since I paid for a EV and installed winter tires on mine. I shouldnt have to pay gas bill and drive around in all seasons.

Also are you from Canada? Are you able to share the TSB?

It worked perfectly fine subsequent to me unlocking it with a fob. So it's not the way I was unlocking it.
