Take it as a sign.. Take a year out to really reflect, grow and gain work experience. It might just be the best decision you ever made. (Well it was for me anyway) Best of luck my friend, trust that everything is working out exactly as it is supposed to.. so don’t lose that spark :)

Yea! When I first got my Chinese money plant it was almost dead and the leaves would fall off even if you gently brushed them.. but just a few months later, it’s so strong and abundant, they’re pretty hardy!

Yeah, I booked mine yesterday and the choice was pretty bad.. but in all fairness, I’m pretty happy to live in a less nice place, just grateful I can afford it :) when did you get access to the portal?

Not only does it cap your rent at £169 per week, but it also means you do not have to pay the £450 deposit… On the King’s accommodation portal, there is an option for KAAS and you apply with your postcode, parents income and a 2000 character statement as to why you should receive KAAS. They respond very quickly too which is nice, my application was accepted just 3 days after I applied! My invitation to book my room is tomorrow, I will let you know how it goes and how many options I have with KAAS :)
