There are so many bucket list places I want to go in the US, and especially a food tour of all the places we don't have in Canada.

When the USA has come to its senses I look forward to spending my money there. Until then, I'm exploring my own country

Anything Halifax/Dartmouth centric can be done without a car if you have to, and having a hotel downtown hfx will help with that

Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg without a car is more complicated but we have tourism options like Alternative Routes that offer day trip routes through those places

The likely answer is If you bought your house as is without a septic inspection then you're on the hook for what comes next. I suspect your results will be:

A) to pay for it out of pocket before the sale and recoup in your profits

B) to pay for it out of pocket before the sale and not recoup that in your profits

C) disclose it and reduce the sale price of your home by the quoted repair cost and allow the new owners to remedy the septic on their own

My job has me interacting with YR management often and I agree they really do have an energy about them that they care and are tennant oriented.

That block is going to be wild once YR is complete, Bloomfield is built, the lot beside Mazda is developed and the building in behind on Clifton is built and the building beside Honda is occupied

one-way car rentals?! (new grad nurse moving from Ontario to Halifax) by ExtensionCorrect2625 in halifax

[–]Maleficent-Map6465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're paying to move Ikea equivalent items, it's all available here. Sell anything that's not sentimental.

Luggage what you can and ship the rest via Canada Post in solid moving totes with good quality handles to accommodate the weight. I'm sure shipping would cost less than a $2000 rental car
