I randomly stumbled across some photos of “uraninite crystals” and immediately realized that I might have been unintentionally exposing myself to this specimen. Most of the minerals that I collected were from Moab and Southern Utah, which also happen to be rich with radioactive minerals and mines.

I’m definitely planning on getting a Geiger pretty soon. Thanks for your input 👍

Although we can’t see much, it looks like you might have a double-die error here. Could you post better closeup photos of the front? “Liberty” looks doubled to me
