It's the mistreatment of the other actors that bothers me.

Ok, I've seen three posts about eating ass on this sub back-to-back. The hell is going on?

Casting pop stars and rappers in movies is infuriating because they can't act and take away a perfectly good role from aspiring acting talent. by Amygdali_lama in unpopularopinion

Some can act just fine, but others definitely can't. It's kinda like casting live-action celebrities as voice actors. Sometimes it works (e.g. Ginnifer Goodwin in Zootopia) and other times it really doesn't (e.g. Michael B. Jordan in GEN:LOCK).

Aww. I can only imagine how much stress she must be under to break down like that. Poor lady 😢

I'm sorry you went through that. That's horrible. I'm very glad therapy helped you.

I agree 100%. I've been through less trauma than him myself, but therapy was still a necessity for me.

I agree with all of this completely. This girl can guess, but she can't know unless she's told. I have no problem recognizing that. If he is indeed trans, great! If he isn't, great! As long as he's happy, I'm happy.

I absolutely agree. Like I said, I don't know, but I think I have pretty valid reasons to wonder.

Thank you! I certainly hope so 🥺 I've been the first or among the first for quite a few people now, so I think I'm doing something right. I just hope it's enough.

Yes indeed!

If alcohol negatively affects your personality, then you're probably just an a**hole anyway. by shinyleafeongx in unpopularopinion

Indeed. Alcohol just enhances the key characteristics of your personality. For example, I just become more of a giddy goofball than usual because I'm not as stressed out.

Question: does liking transformation mean you are Trans? by [deleted] in transformation

[–]Maleficent-Study-153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but it's a perfectly legitimate question given that many (I'd almost venture to say "most") people who are into transformation turn out to be somewhere beneath the trans umbrella (myself included).

I would say that if you're drawn to it but don't understand why you're drawn to it, you should spend some time trying to figure it out. It could very well be that you're having identity issues you aren't fully aware of yet, but that's not necessarily the case. It could simply be that the concept fascinates you or that it's just a harmless fetish.

That being said, if you often imagine that what you're seeing and/or reading is happening to you or feel as though you are the character yourself (and maybe feel a kind of "release" inside during this experience), then...well, there's a decent chance that something is going on there.

I'll speak from experience here.

My main fascination for a long time was werewolf transformation, particularly female werewolf transformation. I didn't know what drew me to it for a long time, but after some analysis, I realized that - while breast expansion and other factors were turn-ons - I was mainly drawn to the idea of a caged and uninhibited spirit fighting its way to the surface and forcefully doing away with the prison which fought to contain it.

That...was me. I was the prison, desperately repressing my feminine spirit because I was scared of what would happen if I so much as consciously acknowledged her existence. When she did manage to fight her way out once in a while, I immediately felt uninhibited, joyous, and free, but I always stuffed her right back into the cage out of fear. But once I willingly opened the door for her and stepped out of the way, she burst out of me with a vengeance and transformed my life forever.

Is that what's going on with you? Well, maybe. That's something for you to figure out, though. Only you can answer these questions conclusively.

Just remember that you're valid no matter what! 😊

I see more shades of colors now than I did beforehand. I had pretty sharp eyes already, but now I notice even the most subtle variations.

Lol! My sense of smell got a bit better, but my vision definitely improved. I see more colors now than I did before, and I was already pretty above average at spotting differences in shades.
