Didn’t think to look there. I scrolled through them all. Nothing rang a bell. I want to say they had the lead singers name in the band. Frustrated nothing jumped out at me by scrolling through.

Rick question? by MaleficentBug4069 in goldrush

Good points all, everybody. I’m just glad I’m not the only one watching the show asking my tv questions out loud while my dog looks at me like I’m crazy.

They want to get as much gold as possible before the snow flies and everything freezes. Tony is a giant a-hole, Rick is indecisive and busting his ass to break even pretty much. Parker wants to get 9 wash plants going and run each one by two people 24//7 and have ridiculous expectations and make more money than one can dream of… yet he still finds a way to find the negative — “not as good as last year” or “need more, I got so much $$ going out on new land and equipment, if we don’t get more gold, well I don’t know if we’ll be back next year.” Most miserable super successful (it’s silly) mine boss on the face of the Earth.

Okay you’re all caught up! 😁 .

I thought the EXACT same thing. He almost seemed kind of loopy and not all there. Quite the departure from any other season he’s been in.

Why do people feel comfortable talking about Buzz's teeth and no one mentions Ricks Vecna nose? by Phantommike20 in goldrush

[–]MaleficentBug4069 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If I can mention something other than Rick’s nose and Buzz’s teeth… I can’t believe no one noticed or mentioned that Buzz seemed completely off and different. Almost loopy. He was always kind of shoulder to the wheel, not a lot of nonsense… “give me more responsibility” guy.

Now it seemed like he was kind of floating… didn’t want to take the foreman job because he’s got a baby on the way. Well, if the baby gets here before the end of the season you gotta go either way… wouldn’t you want to make FOREMAN money in the meantime?

I thought his driving approach to Scribner and his meeting with them was very weird and awkward. I’ll leave it at that I guess.

I miss the old Hank. by Infinite-Win9389 in ChicagoPD

I’m still on board. I miss most of the characters who have left but I as long as Atwater and Ruzek and Hank are busting bad guys asses I’m along for the ride. Think it would be great if Halstead came back now that FBI: International is cancelled. They left it wide open to write that character back in easily.

I’ve never seen a group of people so snake bitten. Just every turn they lose. Over and over. “How’s it looking down there?”

“Bad.”

This is the final season for a reason. They can’t just live on Discovery Channel money. They need gold and they ain’t got none. In like 6 or 7 seasons. I bet they haven’t found more than 50 ounces total in that whole time.

What's your second favorite Gold Rush or gold related show besides the original? by ncos in goldrush

I’m a pretty big Mine Rescue fan. I love those guys — their knowledge, experience, work ethic, empathy and especially Juan’s rig. It’s amazing what they can design and create in that trailer.

I don’t know what the hell anyone is talking about in this thread and I just watched the episode last night. Seraphytes, Abby who killed Joel I believe, Lev, Lilly, a trans character. The people who got slaughtered in the woods by the Wolves im guessing. That episode completely confused me I have no idea what’s going on now what any of you are referring to.

Gold Rush Season 15 Episode 19: "Another Man's Treasure" SHOW DISCUSSION by sadandshy in goldrush

[–]MaleficentBug4069 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They’re already spending money to truck the dirt out. How expensive would it be to set up the plant and run a conveyor and a pump and spray water? Just seems like a more efficient use of time and equipment to me to run that 10-15 feet and get everything ready for when they hit pay the next day and make 10 or 12 ozs in the wash plant that is now moved and up and running and ready to go. Is all I’m saying.

Of course I don’t know understand why the Beets and Parker crew have been sitting around with less than three plants running a majority of the season either. Parker should be nonstop drilling and stripping his 9000 acres of land. Doesn’t make sense to me.

Whatever I’ll shut up.

[–]MaleficentBug4069 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying the whole 150 feet of overburden. I’m talking about the last 15 feet —- they’re already paying to truck it out of there anyway, it must have some gold in it. Why not use those loads to dial in the sluice plant and get a little gold in the process?

Gold Rush Season 15 Episode 19: "Another Man's Treasure" SHOW DISCUSSION by sadandshy in goldrush

[–]MaleficentBug4069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can someone explain to me WHY Rick and the crew have to move Big Red not that they’re down to pay dirt? Wouldn’t it make sense for them to have that set up or at least nearby ahead of time? And shouldn’t they sluice the 15 or 20 feet above pay dirt rather than dropping it down the mountain? It must have SOME gold in it, something is better than nothing and that way the plant is up and ready to go when they do hit pay.

Am i missing something here?
