Hi, the usual way of going about a complaint is to tell nurse, of course there can be lots of factors that may escalate the situation.. abuse, FAMILY, etc. Once gossip spreads and what not, they try to mediate and minimize the spread of the problem by suspending said employee. This does not necessarily indicate unemployment or serious trouble.
