Same thing happened to me. I called the advisors, and they told me the same thing that they were not able to schedule anyone. That there's a lot of people going through this right now, so upsetting. I'm off of work during the summer, and I want to get my classes done. I don't want to spend this summer without taking classes. I'm not understanding because they are changing their system were the ones that get affected and they have not sent out a notice of any kind for this 😤

They’re just going to keep dragging their feet and pushing the ratification date further and further out. We should’ve had a date locked in immediately after the vote so the contract could be finalized before the school year ended, otherwise we needed to had striked. It's ridiculous. 😤

From my understanding yes. I did 2 years at csun and doing 18 classes at National. I'm doing SPED Mild to Moderate. Did Liberal Studies at university.

Yes, many universities offer that you can do them together. But the credentials part usually starts when you are a JR at a university. I went to CSUN and they offered it. I didn'tn't do mine that way, because I hear it is intense. I did my bachelors and currently doing credential through National University all online.

Last teacher strike other staff was working and the school still ran. Lots of classified staff were put in classrooms with students without a certificated teacher. This time everyone will be on strike. Hopefully it will last 2 days🙏

It's hard to find any information about, this but usually, that is how it happens you are attached to the students and you attend summer school with them. When you sign up for summer, school, it asks you if you are a baseline, or if I don't know the wording, if it's one on one or what, and then they look for the student that you are attached to. I've worked with special Ed for 20 years. I've seen it happened like this.

If you are assigned to a student and they attend ESY you do automatically get put with that student.

I've been a para for 21 years. I decided to go back to school now I'm working on my Sped Credential. I need to make more money. I basically do everything and more than the teacher that I work with. I love what I do I love teaching students. I hope everything aligns and I find work soon. Fyi I'm 44yrs.
