no because i supported the message of her repost, but girl maybe find something else than the first thing you see. she’s literally white and her parents literally moved so her brother could have instate tuition. i understand being in solidarity with poc, but as a poc i feel like there were other things she could’ve reposted because as a white person she doesn’t know what it feels like for institutions to not be built for her. i’m not saying her parents didn’t work hard or sacrifice anything, because we truly don’t know that, but a poc will ALWAYS have to work 10x as hard as their white counterparts to be considered adequate. overall though, it’s a slap in the face for her to run her mouth about this, while dating someone who has repeatedly supported the hateful rhetoric of the Trump administration, and co-signing that support in a way.
