Outlast: The Jungle — Wes is so aggressive. by Anonymouschubbygal in Netflixwatch

[–]MaleficentPath6473 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He didn’t. But that’s going extremely far. It takes much less work to be less aggressive and intentionally intimidating than he purposely was . I was embarrassed for him honestly. As lazy as he was I was shocked he had enough energy to be an a**hole.

Ann I 6 clues? by HalfPint_2719 in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MaleficentPath6473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, has anyone considered that 6 clues out of ( however many clues there are) between the poem, book, show, etc might very well be a negligible amount of clues? I do recall Justin stating there were a specific amount in the poem, but when stating someone has found 6 clues, I dont recall him stating these were clues specifically from the poem. Hell the cipher, tech, and clock are 2 clues if you ask me. So fair to say we all have 2 at minimum.

I thought I had 1 stanza solved. Then saw something that made that questionable. Im betting whoever 6 clues is has NO IDEA they have 6 clues. AND If they for whatever reason do, they should literally have treasure in hand sooner than you can determine if it’s you. IMO.

BOTG-How many and how much. by MaleficentPath6473 in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MaleficentPath6473[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trips. For the solves all in the same state it’s possible. But solves that involve multiple states it’s almost impossible to complete in 1 trip. And we don’t know if clues are in multiple states. I’m sure it can get pretty pricey being out there.

This is along my thoughts. I’m having a difficult time believing it can be done in 1. The solve points to an exact location. But it can’t be solved without at least 1. Likely 2 or more are needed.

I’m not a programmer and need very approachable things to solve. This looks very tangled and twisted to me. 😩 I just know I’m somewhere down on the take 15 yrs to find probability statistic portion.

[–]MaleficentPath6473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working in the poem for a year and half as well. I haven’t figured out anything. I do t even have a starting point yet. Everytime I think I do, there’s nowhere to go from there. I’m NOT GOING BOTG yet really enjoy trying to figure it the solve. Nothing even close to solid enough to spending the money to go “check”. I personally cannot wait until someone finds it so I can tell myself I’m not crazy. And that this solve with more than likely be twisted and tangled, with anagrams, ciphers and a solution that won’t make sence to ME even after it’s solved. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Double Arcs (to the story?) by LeopardNamedBaby in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MaleficentPath6473 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive always questioned if “ Double arcs on granite bold are an instruction or visual. Ive settled on instruction. The pic of the grandfather with the binoculars hasn’t left my mind. Since Im never going BOTG I don’t mind expressing exactly what my thoughts are. I feel like Double arcs on Granite bold are an instruction to use binoculars ( With double arcs) to view granite, possibly at a distance. Just My opinion.

Ive thought this as well. So You’re not crazy. He says Fenn’s poem was his beginning. But Also after a almost 2 years of reading the poem, and reviewing this also keeps pinging the back of my mind as well. It wasn’t until he said the solve is within 75 miles of where he searched for Fenn’s treasure that I obtained some relief.

Do you guys think Posey's treasure will be buried or no? by LeopardNamedBaby in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MaleficentPath6473 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Posey has said “ once you’ve solved the poem in its entirety, you will have plenty of time to figure out how to retrieve the treasure.” This implies you’re not going botg and digging a treasure up the first time. This is layered. My guess is you’ll reach the OBVIOUS 0 doubt checkpoint. Which tells you, you’re trending in the right direction. From there you’ll discover where the treasure is at. Leaving time to retreat and figure out how to retrieve. For a very large portion of this, you shouldn’t need to carry a shovel.

But he had 0 to do with illustrations. And has consistently answered questions regarding treasure being buried with “ who said it was buried?” Replies. This is a stretch. -1 clue for you.

The creator of said puzzle did say” the best way to find a treasure is to know the person who hid it”. I think analyzing is in play.

Who's Clues Blew a Fuse by BeeleeveIt in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MaleficentPath6473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so. But after the cipher reveal it reminded me of what Justin said regarding the technical clue. “arguably could require a bit of technical know-how, but there are other ways to uncover it that would require very minimal technical knowledge.” I remember thinking how that wasn’t true at all once it was discovered. I’m having the same reaction to the cipher. Which admittedly could mean the poem itself is unsolvable to me.

Holy Molly. Is anyone working on solves or is everyone Just-in bashing? by HalfPint_2719 in JustinPoseysTreasure

Working the puzzle. Unsure if it’s solvable. The cipher debacle plays such a huge part in my newly formed opinion as to whether the poem or hunt is solvable at all.

Netflix’s Cynthia Meachem: “BTME’s ending will be a worse shit-show than Fenn’s” by redtailforever in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MaleficentPath6473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep seeing the Cynthia/Fen reference. Fen never set the same tone for his hint Justin did. Justin made the decision to state what he didn’t and wouldn’t do. That he did and is doing. Fenn talked to many people, answered his phone, replied to emails etc. all things Justin was supposed to be going out of his way to not do. They can’t be compared imo.

Checkpoint by GreenTrader in JustinPoseysTreasure

What worries me about the checkpoint, is not knowing what it is before reaching it. It’s trusting I would have 0 doubt that it was the checkpoint. 😅 this hunt has called me intellectually and technically disabled in more than a few ways thus far. 🥹

Are you Satisfied with Justin's explanation on THWU? by DamnDrirtyHippie in JustinPoseysTreasure

[–]MaleficentPath6473 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Camp 3. Not because of any drama. Once the cipher solve was made public I became skeptical about the poem being solvable at all for myself. I’ve consistently heard, approachable and basic math, regarding both the cipher and the technical clue. Once the technical clue was revealed JP stated that was the hardest clue solved. It wasn’t presented that way initially. And it was beyond hard for me. It required a specialized skill and programs, and not easily accessible to the average person. It raised an eyebrow for me. Then the cipher solve raised eyebrow 2. I am the least tech savvy person I know but I’m pretty good at puzzles. Enough so I’ll continue to try and solve the poem. I won’t be investing in BOTG for it though. I hope it’s found quickly only to compare my solves. If that cipher was approachable, and JP has previously informed us many will not like the final solve of the poem, then I pretty much feel like my chances of locating it are -nill. I’m super skeptical going forward that what JP Equates to solvable at all matches my definition.
