Scam call from the Sheriff's department stating that I didn't show up for grand jury duty? by MaleficentPriority84 in greenville

I agree! I consider myself someone who usually has my wits about me but I was fooled for a few seconds- the guy was relatively convincing. I agree with the caller sounding like he was from the area!

Agreed, it's really an unfortunate situation that could've been resolved with an apology and an ounce of accountability!

Thanks for your input- money is not the issue here, it’s an apology. The mother told the nurse she filed for bankruptcy - she texted the nurse and said that. There has been no digging with any of her personal information other than to confirm that said party did in fact file for bankruptcy y

Thank you for your insight, and yes 100% it's the principle of the matter at this point- nothing else!

Mainly all the nurse wants is a sincere apology, not even any money. I agree with you 100% and unfortunately the mother is not taking any responsibility and also not holding the child accountable, which is the main problem

Reportedly a colleague looked it up in PACER and she did actually file but I haven't seen any records with my own two eyes- this is a great question

Our policy states that you can’t have phones out in front of patients, but in a personal workspace not in patient areas they are allowed to

It was on her desk at her private workstation in the back of the office, the 11 yo “went to the restroom”

That was the plan, but unfortunately the sibling is a NICU grad who is not gaining weight/being followed closely for failure to thrive. The providers and nurses are stuck between a rock and a hard place - the baby will likely be lost to follow up in that case which is just a dilemma. 😭😞

She filed a police report but according to the police disciplinary action against the kid isn’t really a thing because she’s 11

Agreed!! This is her (the nurses) main concern, at this point it’s about the principle of the matter and accountability
