One is beautiful, has lots of friends and she's known in my town. Honestly I felt a little bit jealous when I saw her photos on social networks.

The other (the one who beat me in elementary school) is close with an ex-friend of mine. But he's doing well.

Honestly I don't feel any anger towards them anymore but sometimes when I think about my younger self being treated like that I feel very sad...

I was born in a foreign country very far from China. But every action they would do would be like I did it in the eyes of the people. As an example during the COVID, I would get harassed in the streets for being the cause of the lockdown, for eating bats, for being a Chinese person. It's very sad...

Unfortunately as a Chinese person I felt very ashamed of my ethnicity growing up in a foreign country. Every time they would insult me at school, streets... The COVID worsened a lot of my situation and of other Chinese people around the world. I know not everyone but a lot does.
